Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings
We use WebEx Meetings for certain client accounts, rather than across the entire organization. WebEx Meetings is very easy to install and use, and allows us to utilize screen sharing with multiple people so that we can follow along with our agendas more easily. It also allows us to track who is in the meeting and who is speaking at a certain point in time. It definitely enhances the usual conference call.
- Simple screen sharing.
- Chat and survey capabilities.
- Ability to see who is on your call at any point in time.
- Have sometimes had other users have connectivity/sound issues that were not the result of them muting themselves. Required them to dial back in order to fix the issue.
- Premium price.
- Allows us to have more frequent remote meetings that still allow us to share content, strengthening relationships with clients.
- Allows us to increase efficiency and reduce costs, because we can have stellar online, rather than in-person meetings.
WebEx Meetings and GoToMeeting are both great resources for businesses that need to hold web meetings and share content with attendees during the call. Increasingly, we're using Zoom and Microsoft Teams, as many of our clients are keen to use these platforms. All of these platforms are easy to use and provide multiple features and functionalities to presenters that improve meeting flow and design. I personally believe that Zoom has the most issues with low bandwidth.
Cisco Webex Meetings is a very reliable solution and I've found it to be a better platform for meetings than Zoom, which has seen an intense uptick in use during the pandemic but frequently results in poor connections during meetings for some of our participants.
Cisco Webex Meetings offers great scalability, allowing you to host small and large meetings across numerous sites or even virtual conferences should those needs arise. I believe some competitors like Zoom may allow for a greater number of attendees if that is a priority for your organization.
I haven't experienced noticeable issues regarding Cisco Webex Meetings' speed. The platform is reliable and its performance is consistent, which gives me the confidence to host meetings.
It's extremely easy to learn how to use the WebEx Meetings platform. All attendees have to do is join the meeting and then they'll see the presenters screen. Presenters just have to learn how to share their desktop, documents and videos and how to add additional presenters if need be.
It's great for meetings that need to include a few or a lot of people who are working remotely. It's an ideal solution when you need to share a desktop, documents, videos, etc. with those who aren't in the room with you. It's suitable for both internal meetings and meetings with your clients.
Webex Meetings Feature Ratings
Cisco Webex Experience
The automatic noise suppression is a great feature. As we increasingly opt for video calls and people are working from home in potentially noisy environments with partners, kids and pets, it's important to reduce noise that distracts from the speaker. The ability to mute yourself when background noise is detected is graet.
Using Cisco Webex Meetings
We don't have any technical personnel who help us with this platform. It's so easy to use that account managers can feel confident conducting a meeting after a demo and some brief trial and error.
- Conduct roundtable discussions
- Connect with people around the globe at the same time
Cisco Webex Meetings is a platform that consistently performs well and outperforms some of the other solutions that we have used, such as Zoom. It is user friendly and helps our organization accomplish the goal of connecting with external contacts to conduct meetings and share information.
Evaluating Webex Meetings and Competitors
- Product Features
- Product Usability
- Product Reputation
The most important factor is the usability of the product, both for those who will be hosting meetings and those who will be attending. Thus, we need to make sure the product is preferred by our internal team as well as our clients and prospects. We reviewed the features to determine whether they would simplify the meeting process and how easy it would be to onboard those who would be serving as hosts.
I would probably aim to read more reviews of different platforms available to learn more about the pros and cons of each from users. It would be interesting to specifically learn how other small businesses are using Cisco Webex Meetings and other platforms, as we are a small business and want to make the most of the products we are using in order to maximize our ROI.
