Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings
Webex Meetings is currently used by some team managers when meeting with other employees within my company. It addresses certain issues within the company as an alternative to Skype Business and Adobe Connect. The platform is more user-friendly and presents a positive interaction, in my opinion with other colleagues. To my knowledge, not everyone uses Webex Meetings, only some.
- Joining is extremely easy when meeting with others.
- The layout is peaceful and presents attendees with gentle colors instead of harsh backgrounds.
- Allows other users to see who is present and how they have joined a meeting.
- Webex is constantly improving the interface regularly.
- Honestly, the interface is simplistic in nature, creating a sense of comfortability for anyone using it for business needs. I am very impressed with the continued improvement Webex has offered employees and employers.
- Webex could use some help by allowing more information to be seen by Attendees.
- Although the colors are pleasant, options for more interactions with the host would be appreciated.
- I have had difficulty when trying to attend Webex Meetings using my personal PC behind a VPN. This was a cause for me to be only able to dial in and not see the meeting. I tried all the suggestions given to me on screen and even after downloading necessary plugins, etc., I was still unable to join. I am not sure if this was an issue with my companies remote dongle or Webex itself. It simply would not launch and just sat there spinning.
- I believe this has had a positive impact on business objectives. Sometimes, attendees who use other software may want to get away from that environment and enter the pleasant environment f Webex. In my opinion, it can have nothing but a positive impact on the business if it projects a sense of peace and overall positivity when meeting. This is especially important to agents who are in a particular virtual room for eight hours a day. Moving to the calm color scheme of Webex only makes the experience that much better and results in better agents, in my opinion.
- The ability for managers to meet quickly when addressing issues also has to have a positive impact on business objectives as well as the infrastructure as items are able to be addressed quickly and immediately without "building" a room to accommodate.
- The only negative impact that I can foresee would be that we may have issues with those who are unfamiliar with Webex in general. We use particular software to meet on a daily basis, and I do not believe many agents are trained in using Webex Meetings or its interactive capabilities.
In many positions I have used Webex to not only interview, but also to meet for team meetings. Across the company as a whole, it is generally used by every and all individuals who want to meet with individuals as well as one on one. Company-wide it is used as a way to Coach, update employees, interact, and assist others.
- Unfortunately, I have not had the need to integrate or attempt to integrate Webex with other systems.
Again, unfortunately, I have not had the pleasure of integrating other systems with Webex meetings. I am, the majority of the time, the attendee, and not the creator of these meetings, so the necessity of integration is not applicable.
- Adobe Connect and Avaya
I like the functionality and the fact that the interface is not overly-aggressive. It allows agents to step away from the other software and have a more pleasant experience when meeting with team managers. The color scheme is just right, simplicity at its core, and other attributes, make the Webex Meeting an all in all positive experience.

Cisco Hybrid Work
- Webex Meetings
- Working from home
So far implementing hybrid work solutions only require me to tweak what I was already doing. Pre-covid, I was working remotely and only had to adjust certain items as more interfaces and interactions became more commonplace. I have seen many companies start to fix issues that I experienced before that did not have a solution, such as VM Ware. I have found that companies understand better now what we need as employees to implement a hybrid work solution.
Cisco Webex Experience
In addition to the aforementioned abilities within Webex, the ability to join, interact, and share information also gives the employee a sense of trust in his or her organization. When employees first go through the onboarding process and may have never been engaged in a remote or virtual position, the ability for this program not only to work, but work well assists in instilling the trust that some organizations need. When a program fails and the employee experiences this failure, it places the organization at a disadvantage with that new employee. Webex helps re-enforce the faith in the company or organization.
Unfortunately none. We use a variety of products and tools, but no other Cisco Collaboration Product. This may be something that needs to be looked at within my organization to assist in streamlining the onboarding, training, and coaching processes. In my organization, we use a different medium to meet on a daily basis and have continued issues with that particular tool. Now, they have also implemented a new VPN process that seems to have exacerbated the issue. All the while, Cisco Webex has been undeterred and unaffected by this change.
With a different organization, I personally experienced an individual that not only hacked the meeting, but it was during training. This occurred repeatedly to the extent that I resigned from the position because of the inability to ensure security once behind a VPN. The individual that gained unauthorized access with this "other" program was able to adjust items being shared in class, affect attendees, override audio, and other items that completely disrupted the class to the extent the organization I was with had to shut down the class for the day. This happened repeatedly. I can say that with Cisco Webex, I have NEVER experienced this issue and am a user of Webex for more than a year. The security is second-to none and this is without any additional steps needed to secure the meeting.
Webex Meetings Support
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Good followup Knowledgeable team Problems get solved Kept well informed No escalation required Immediate help available Quick Initial Response | None |
No, unfortunately this was not an option for me. I was part of the Webex that required the free download so other options were not a choice. I used this primarily to interact with Team Leads and coworkers, so the premium support option was not available. I also used the company's version which also limited my ability to purchase this option.
Unfortunately I have had no need to contact Cisco to fix a bug. After Covid, Webex did an excellent job of finding issues that was plaguing the application and fixing them. As more people relied on this interface, the issues that we were experiencing before were fixed. I would like to thik Cisco would provide me with exceptional support if I needed them based on previous interactions with Cisco.
