WebPT for a Small PT Practice for the Win!
Overall Satisfaction with WebPT
I exclusively use WebPT for our Physical Therapy Practice - we use it for scheduling patients, and documenting our care, and we combine it with the use of WebPT's Therabill to send out claims electronically and manage our patient accounts. When I started our practice, I researched and researched to find a system that didn't require me to sign in or manage 10 different places to get the start-to-finish job completed. I wanted a system that made my workflow easier - from scheduling a client, completing my documentation, and completing the billing (both to insurance companies as well as to clients). I had used another EMR system for 7+ years, and it did not have this seamless capability and made more work than was needed. The onboarding process was fantastic, and anytime there have been any issues or if I have had questions, I have always been able to easily get in touch with a live person and solve the issue - if WebPT was not able to solve it right away, there has always been consistent follow-up. So the ease of use, the workflow simplicity, and the support behind the product make it a no-brainer.

- Would love the ability to have shortcuts during live documentation
- Ability to change an "available" slot right into an appointment spot without having to delete the block and then adding
- Having an exercise flow sheet automatically create a HEP handout from the WebPT doc system vs. having to go into HEP
- Improved Productivity - streamlined process means less time doing doc/admin work
- Positive ability to keep in communication with clients via HEP portal
- Reducing paper use via digital intake and having it drop right into the clients chart
WebPT has definitely succeeded here as it has completely streamlined the process for me and allowed me to add new therapists without the added stress of a ridiculous additional cost.
Love that WebPT warns me of a client with Medicare approaching the cap, so I know to add the appropriate modifiers, ensure that we are reporting the appropriate outcome measurement, and ensure that all the checkboxes are complete before we can sign off on a note. This definitely was a key component in selecting an EMR platform.
For a smaller business like mine.... the cost, the streamlined capability, the compliance factors, the ability to do everything under one log in - WebPT was the only one that checked the boxes. (Clinicient may have changed since merging with WebPT (at the time, it was its own platform)
