Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo
We use ZoomInfo in three ways: 1) our BDR/sales team uses the SFDC integration to source new prospects and enrich existing prospects; 2) we use the external ZoomInfo platform to enrich event lists before import; 3) we also use the external platform to build targeted lists of net new contacts for sales/marketing efforts.
- Building lists from scratch - the parameters you can use to build lists are very flexible and allow us to get very targeted.
- I like the fact that I can build a list and look through the entire thing (minus email) before purchasing, to make sure it's brought back the right types of contacts and remove any I don't want to buy.
- Easy to use platform and integration.
- We've had a LOT of bounced emails and contacts who are no longer at the company coming out of purchased lists
- The credit management system for users is pretty clunky. We have to move credits around a lot and it's a very manual process.
- Positive: Enables SFDC users to find missing information on their own, rather than waiting for a targeted marketing campaign goaled at filling the blanks (which would require substantial investment of time and resources).
- Positive: Has helped us source some very valuable new contacts for geo and industry targeted marketing efforts.
- Negative: Consistent issues with outdated/incorrect contact info.
I was not at the company when ZoomInfo was scoped and brought onboard, but I believe the main reasons it was chosen over competitors were: 1) it's cost effective; 2) easy-to-use SFDC integration; 3) match rates. I've used similar tools at past jobs and would argue that while ZoomInfo is very cost-effective and intuitive, the data quality isn't always what it should be.
