Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo
Zoominfo is being used by our North American sales organization to help identify prospects based on geographic location (territory), title, company type., etc. The tool makes it easy to filter results based on a host of different search criteria.
- Search for contacts
- Save and/or edit your search preferences so you don't have to recreate the wheel each session
- Store and manage lists
- I find the data to be somewhat inaccurate (e.g., email addresses frequently bounce, even when narrowing the search to "past 12 months").
- Filters don't always seem to work as they should (e.g., Search for people in New York and add rule specifying "Person is at specified location" yet the search results very often come back with international contacts, which is obvious when you look at their phone numbers.).
- Would like to see more user-level default settings e.g., always just search for contacts whose profile has been updated in the past 12-months, always provide results for contacts who have both an email address and phone, etc.
- Increased efficiency in my list building
- Ability to build lists and have the system update for me
- Targeted search allows for a more refined sales approach
Data.com is inferior to Zoom, in my opinion, due to data quality. Sales Navigator is more of a complement to Zoom (or visa versa) - both have their strengths.
