Apple iCloud
Apple iCloud works extremely well for individuals that are subscribed to the Apple ecosystem of products. The ability to seamlessly sync across devices with one account has helped me prepare, access, and share important documents quickly and effectively across platforms. Additionally, Apple's cloud infrastructure is quite robust and I have rarely encountered issues with reliability over the five years+ of using the service.

We use it anywhere that we deal with PDF files. If we are printing into the PDF format, opening existing files or editing PDF files it does all those things great.
I think the latest versions are pretty much good at anything where PDF files are normally used.
I do not use it for full on word processing, other than that it is my go to program.

Pros
Apple iCloud
- Speed - As soon as the transfer is complete you immediately have all the information backed up to access on any computer that you desire to log into. Transferring information from your phone to this service is seamless and easy to understand.
- Reliability - I have used iCloud ever since I've had an iPhone (over 5 years) and I never once have lost a file or document due to Apple's failure.

- Editing a current .pdf document is so much easier and faster - being able to match the forms font type and size is key.
- The easy task of converting a .pdf into a Word document to add space or add extra/correct wording has been key - especially for Old Bond Forms.
- Saving in Kofax is easy for those documents or endorsement forms you need to add or manually correct ( adding policy numbers, insured's full name/dba to forms as required).

Cons
Apple iCloud
- You will constantly run into issues where iCloud is optimized or available only for Apple's own product line. That's frustrating.
- Apple's Mail app and service are just beleaguered by the likes of Gmail. Perhaps even Zoho does better than them on the web.
- iCloud seems optimized more for a mobile user, so desktop apps & services feel a bit force-fitted.

- The resequencing of form tabs is extremely difficult
- The HELP system very often does not find the info that I need .
- The ribbon icons are very dull and difficult to interpret as compared to similar Microsoft icons.
- Quite often the text update function messes up the entire page after you add a word to an existin text line. It doesn't know how to create multilines when needed.

It's so seamless that I can't imagine another product doing a better job synchronizing all of my devices. I simply do not think about it at all. Everything happens behind the scenes and I'm confident that Apple keeps my data safe and secure. I'm a happy customer as far as this is concerned. I have not had a bad experience with this service.

Very satisfied with the product. With the exception of limited fonts, there's nothing the app can't do that I need it to do.

While it may be great to use with other Apple products, I find it's an absolutist-style workflow to be debilitating and to lead to many problems. When you sign into the cloud, it completely takes over your device in many ways that you don't notice at first until there is a problem.

Most tasks are intuitive, but the ones, I have cited already. To get a 10, the Help file should be rewritten. It is not thorough, confused, and sometimes inconsistent.Menus are well structured, although the Page Rotated section of the ribbon looks a bit out of place.Recent files are well located front and center.

Occasionally, large files that haven't yet been synced require a few minutes to pull down but I've rarely noticed delays. It does a good job of keeping data cached on my local machines while updating them with changes from other machines transparently.

I never used Apple iCloud support, but have never needed to do so. It has become more of a personal issue with computers in my organization, where the business solution has been with Dropbox. I do have to admit when my Mac went down, having things on Apple iCloud did help to get things restored. However, since I had more than one photo file for my Business and Personal data, I was not able to recover my Business Photos. Apple iCloud should have been able to do this.

I think that the online community is smaller than Adobe users. I think that the 'help' answers are usually pretty good, but I have been left in the dark several times. I am much more disappointed by the online support for Kofax for Mac because I think that it is even a smaller percentage of users who operate on a Mac. This is frustrating to me.

Google Drive is great and it offers way more free storage than Apple iCloud, however, Google is known for sharing their user's data much more freely than Apple. To some people, this might not be a big deal. I prefer to pay a few dollars for added security. Dropbox is a different situation in that it offers less free storage space than Apple. Dropbox also integrates very well with many different services, but Apple has been rapidly improving in this area.

Kofax Power PDF is clearly a superior product that is a cost-effective, efficient and a perfect substitute for Adobe Acrobat, the gold standard of PDF conversion software. Other PDF conversion software lacks the features Power PDF and Adobe provide. You get what you pay for and Kofax is definitely worth the money.

Apple iCloud
- Mobility. Apple iCloud along with other online storage options has given me the ability to access files and data while away from my office.
- Security. I don't worry about security with my files in Apple iCloud. Of course, I don't generally store highly sensitive files in the cloud.
- Simplicity. I can set up my file folders so that when I know I will need access to certain types of files away from my office, I save time with decision making or moving the files later when I may need to take a trip or visit a client.

- Significant cost savings in upfront license cost.
- When I consult for clients the cost savings have allowed entire companies to utilize this software versus having a few users with Adobe Acrobat.
- When updating quotes I can make changes directly within the PDF file instead of having to open Word, edit the document, and then use the save-as function to generate a new PDF file.
