Likelihood to Recommend As it is a very complete tool, with many features and that sometimes ends up being a little complex, I would recommend it only for medium-sized companies. Perhaps in a large company, it could complicate the processes a little instead of making it easier. But it's a great tool!
Read full review Jobvite was very useful when used to onboard our new hires. Being a Human capital management company, we hire many individuals on a weekly basis so it helps us keep all of the paperwork organized and prevent any accidents when managing all of the data. Sometimes it does pose a problem for those who are not technologically savvy.
Read full review Pros Search capabilities - ability to pipeline top talent. Communication with hiring managers in the hiring manager portal - resumes/notes don't get lost in email and are always accessible to anyone involved in the hiring process. Ability to customize - we've been able to change work flows for different needs, and different business groups as well. Read full review Workflow- I love that you can immediately see where in the process a candidate is. Dashboard- The customization and overall feel of the site. Feed- The fact that you can see the feed from the candidates other applications is a plus. Read full review Cons Easily over-engineered. While it's great to be able to customize, there are times where there are too many choices. Would like to see it integrate better with our HRIS system. Still a lot of manual steps in the workflow. Read full review Custom fields--custom fields do not follow the candidate from hire to onboarding. This is problematic because we then have to recreate on the onboarding side to then import into our HRIS. Onboarding picklists are time-consuming to populate. We have to enter options one at a time, rather than being able to do an import. Also, field mapping on Hire is a lot easier than having to set up tags on option sets in onboarding. I liked the fact that we could set up any job application link on our company web site to connect directly to Jobvite. I also liked that Jobvite made employee referral easy to submit, as employee referrals tend to be the highest quality candidates. Jobvite really has all the tools a recruiter needs to get a candidate through a recruiting process quickly without anything slipping through the cracks. Even though there are a lot of features I feel can be greatly improved, I don't think there is anything on the market today that is better than Jobvite

Read full review Support Rating Support used to be better. In the last few years, though, I feel like there has been significantly less investment in customer service. We used to have account managers who were very visible and always checking in. Also, there used to be a phone number to get around-the-clock support. I am not sure that that exists at the quality it used to

Read full review Alternatives Considered Avature is much better than
OpenHire !
OpenHire didn't give us the ability to share resumes or notes through the system and was very complicated to keep track of candidates that applied to multiple jobs or duplicate candidates. Was also very archaic in the interfacing and usability. Avature gave us many more options to customize our system.

iCIMS and
Kronos Workforce Ready . Neither of these products got us where we wanted to be with metrics, candidate experience, or technology. I'm sure since we left them they have updated, but we are much happier with Jobvite than others. In the process of searching for a new ATS, we attended demonstrations of 9 other applicant tracking systems and were most impressed with Jobvite.
Read full review Return on Investment Ability to be more efficient in hiring, leading to faster hire times Easier to keep clean data for OFCCP or AAP audits Spend a lot of time altering or changing workflows/process/manually moving things along Read full review Reporting - we had none before other than manually tracking things in excel documents, now we have a full suite of reports and dashboards we can customize. Interview Scheduling - With the candidate self-scheduling feature, we can now schedule interviews in a matter of seconds while also automating the candidate confirmation email and the calendar invites. More detailed source tracking than I have seen in any other product allowing full visibility on who we hire, where they came from and we can now analyze our sources. Read full review ScreenShots
