Likelihood to Recommend For an organization providing ABA service, there really is nobody else that even provides a remotely comparable service. It does have limitations and areas of the system that take more training or are less intuitive than one might hope, but their customer support representatives are generally really helpful and they are pretty quick to make updates to better serve their clients. They are incredible at finding efficient ways to reduce workflow, and while the product can be quite pricey, we have found that it has saved us at least 2 FT admin positions through the efficiency it has created and further frees up our clinicians so that they can focus in more on client outcomes. It's instrumental in our ability to scale our operations across locations. Even with its limitations, it's proven to be in a class of its own in the ABA world.
Read full review PointClickCare is more suited for long-term care; less suited for independent or assisted living but they are making great strides. Reporting and dashboards could be more robust but by far this is better than any of the other products out there currently for long-term care. Financial Setup is cumbersome and could be more fluent or intuitive with better programming. UI is changing to a more modern look which is great. Training options could be better as not everyone does well with eLearning

CentralReach is always evolving and implementing new features to keep up with client demands and the ever changing healthcare field. Read full review PCC's census tracking is exceptional, allowing for Medicare's 100 days to be managed on the MDS and billing part. Cash applications are simple to use. Any errors in payments can be investigated immediately to confirm whether the discrepancy is due to inaccurate write-offs, billing, and even census. The month-end closing process is clean and efficient, allowing the billers to ensure all matters for the previous month have been satisfactorily addressed. Read full review Reliability and Availability I have implemented PCC in over 100 buildings and have used it for almost 5 years. I can count maybe 2 times in 5 years when PCC downtime caused an issue for our facilities. I would say their availability rating exceeds a 10 compared to other software systems.

Read full review Alternatives Considered The user functionality is intuitive. The customer service is beyond other products which allows you to be more efficient and effective at using the system. Also, entering programming which is the primary use is very easy and also intuitive. Many parts of the system are connected which auto populate reports for our therapist. On the business side, the scheduling to billing is very effective.
Read full review Each software that we had previously was best in KLAS at one time or another. However, they were individual software solutions instead of one solution for all of our business objectives. PCC has made it easier for our financial and clinical staff to have one tool that spans the employee lifecycle and that interacts with the different departments. Our facilities now have a real EMR instead of a parsed out product half on paper and half in the computer.
