If your organization relies on outbound leads through cold calling, this is a great tool for you. ConnectAndSell definitely made the associate's jobs easier at our company and allowed them to produce greater output than they could have done manually without such a tool. This tool is less appropriate if cold calling isn't a big part of your company's lead generation efforts.

Kixie

For me, the best kind of services are the ones that you forget about because they work so well in the background. This is what Kixie does so well once it's installed; it's unobtrusive, simple, and does what it is supposed to do in the background. My sales staff no longer has to worry about tracking and logging their outbound or inbound calls because Kixie is installed on their phones and computers.

Kixie

  • Kixie integrates seamlessly with our CRM (Zoho), meaning it updates call notes directly on the customer's CRM profile.
  • The one-click dialing feature directly through our CRM is a great feature. It's so simple; just search for a name, one-click, and you are on the phone.
  • The local presence feature is a nice touch for cold calls. It provides a local area code when cold calling to increase the likelihood of an answer to the call.

  • One thing that's been difficult about Connect and Sell is some people can tell you've been patched through so if you can work past the initial conversation it ends up working great.
  • The system has worked great with outreach which we've integrated our contacts directly into the system. Because of this the connection between outreach and connect and sell don't always communicate calls and metrics which are crucial for us to know conversion rates.
  • We had a hard time getting the system implemented quickly and working the way we wanted it to. Because of the implementation specialist we were working with problems weren't solved quickly rather they were worked through quickly however they were solved.

Kixie

  • There is a big price difference between Kixie's limited minutes and unlimited minutes calling plans. I was expecting a price increase for unlimited minutes, but I didn't expect it to be that large of an increase (almost double the price).
  • The minutes for the limited calling plan is set at 300 minutes a month. For my organization that makes a lot of calls, this is a very low amount, which forces us to upgrade to the unlimited calling plan.
  • It's easy to get started with Kixie by signing up for their free trial. However, the pricing that was advertised during the free trial period turned out to be quite different for my organization when it was actually time to purchase the service after the trial period was over.

I have had a few support calls with their people. They are totally reachable and helpful, sharing screens, controlling my screen, showing why things happened, not just correcting it. If you have an issue with the software, let them help. They are there for you, and they are friendly, accessible, and happy to do their job.

With Outreachr, you have the old school version of dialing, waiting, hanging up etc. ConnectAndSell is a much more efficient tool when it is running in full swing. Unfortunately, the implementation team spent the majority of the introduction trying to teach us how to sell instead of showing us how to work their product.

Kixie

Kixie integrated much better with our CRM (Zoho) than CrazyCall. In addition, Kixie had increased reporting features that CrazyCall did not offer--CrazyCall's reporting was limited and not detailed enough for our purposes. Lastly, at the time, CrazyCall did not have the inbound call services that Kixie offered. In fact, CrazyCall did not have any inbound services when we were using the software.

  • We did not have a positive experience with ConnectAndSell from an ROI perspective.
  • ConnectAndSell did not have a give us a positive result on our business objective.
  • We did have a great sale to start transition, and that support was good. However, ongoing support was frustrating.

  • Kixie has made our sales team more productive by freeing up their time for more calls and customer engagement.
  • My sales team has also become more organized by using Kixie. We are able to be more systematic and strategic with when we are calling and the frequency of our calls. This has improved our success ratio in getting leads into our pipeline.
  • The reporting features on Kixie has allowed my organization to better identify members of my sales staff that are having call success and reward them for their efforts.
