signNow is an eSignature solution with mobile apps for iOS and Android. signNow can be integrated into popular platforms and offers SaaS, public cloud, and private cloud deployment options with the same underlying API. This enables customers to leverage the power and usability of the signNow eSignature platform, while meeting their particular security and compliance requirements.
The signing software we used before deciding to purchase Sign Now was DocuSign. DocuSign has all the features that SignNow has, but at a much higher cost. There wasn't really much difference between the two. Both have their learning curves. In the end they both do the same thing.
When compared to DocuSign, I find that SignNow does as well of a job. I have used both software and have never had any issues with either. I have no problem recommending one or the other to friends or family. Both are great products and I will continue to use either when …
DocuSign has benefits as well but the pricing is prohibitive for what I need on a day to day basis. SignNow gets the job done at a price I can afford. Its value proposition is good and I have very few issues with it.
The biggest difference between DocuSign and SignNow is the price! SignNow is so very affordable as compared to DocuSign which was the initial draw. I do not have any loyalty to another software just because it may be popular or widely used by others, I'm looking for a …
Have stuck with SignNow over the last few years for the price and covering of basic functionality. Does what it needs to do on a daily basis. DocuSign is super pricey (they charge on a cost per send model, which baffles me). SignNow is unlimited. HelloSign was also a good cheap …
We looked at several different offerings such as HelloSign and DocuSign, but SignNow offered the same basic options for a lot less money. It was easy to implement and very user friendly. We didn't need a lot of bells and whistles which the other guys offered which honestly just …
User-friendly. SignNow also has an affordable cost for individuals and small businesses while still including a top performance. Only one license works across many different platforms, and it's recognized and accepted across many countries.
The most cost-effective platform for our size and needs. Some had barriers such as needing to download an application or not a household name, and thus, needed some more "pointing out" and following up with. SignNow also has a great, Incognito Alerts setting where you can …
We were comparing the two and in the end, we liked the ability to use the kiosk mode provided by SignNow and the pricing structure seemed more reasonable.
When reviewing programs for use I found for the price and ease of use SignNow was by far the best choice. I used the trial period for both products and involved persons of all levels and at the end of the day found that SignNow was the right choice for our business use.
I am going to speak of a personal experience- on multiple occasions: I need my husband to sign documents during the day and I don't need him here- physically. He sometimes works in different parts of the state as well at his own company. There is no problem at all, as long as he has access to his cell phone, email, and cell phone service- he can sign the documents I need him to. It is AMAZING- I can't speak highly enough of Docusign.
SignNow is well suited for any situation where you need to send a document to an individual or group of people for signatures. When sending documents to groups, you can send them to everyone all at once or dictate the signing order, making it easy to customize the signing process to your unique needs.
Tracking, particularly when collecting signatures through connected applications, such as an ATS, is not always clean or easily traceable.
Formatting documents to handle electronic signature types (signatures, initials, etc.) is not always easy, and highly dependent on the partner's technology.
It is not convenient to have to use DocuSign as a stand alone product if the signatures are required for 3rd party applications. It definitely excels on its own, but the scope of that usage, at least for us, is slim.
I can't imagine doing business without DocuSign now. I would never want to go back to the way we used to do things. The "new way" is "the way" is "the right way." We can honestly be proud of a "one right way" process and not have to suffer through "5 ways for 5 days."
The features are too limited. The biggest issue though is the flexibility for editing existing forms without having to create a whole new form. The other issues are its payment partner options, lack of automation, and logic flow. We plan to quit this software and use other software in its place.
Generally user-friendly once you have command of the basics, but also has a lot of nuances that can make it difficult to train others on. DocuSign University is a helpful tool, but understandably a lot of content to get through to become a well-versed user. A lot of different functionalities but only a few I use on a weekly basis.
In terms of core functionality - adding options for signatures, text, dates, check boxes, etc., as well as customising the body of the request, the title of the request, follow-ups / reminders for signature, etc., SignNow is great. It's really easy to navigate and use in this regard. SignNow loses points when it comes to the end-user who needs to sign. There's an option for them to either use the app (which is most prominent in the page that shows when they open the request) or to sign using their browser (which is much smaller). I had my assistant create this step by step guide for our clients, so they can complete the request the way we need them to:https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1FopYjlykHMFjIAQjgaNLtNIvSCQND_kb86-U9bA5M2A/edit?usp=sharing As far as I'm aware, you can't make it mandatory for them to draw their signature, and there's no option to remove the prompt for them to download the app when signing on their mobile device. I really wish these were options, but they don't take away from the fact it does what it is intended to do, and it does it well.
SignNow is always available when I need it. It seems that most updates occur outside of business hours so I have full functionality when I need it most between the hours of 8am-6pm EST. There has only been I time when I experience application errors when I need to use the system but it did not last long and the issue was resolved within a few hours.
I'd give them a 10, but there has been 1 or 2 small cases that seemed to fall to the wayside, but I was able to call them up and get them resolved. We were having a bad implementation night (after midnight) and we needed assistance from Docusign. They were able to get an engineer to help us in the early morning hours
I only used SignNow support when setting up. I uploaded a bunch of documents in the wrong place and needed assistance in moving them. Unfortunately they were not able to move the documents and I needed to upload into a different place. This is where I feel the system itself could benefit from some flexibility for their customers.
Docusign is super easy to use, and apart from a few administration details, there was really nothing to train on. Post implementation, there were issues with configuration of auto-filled documents with the integrating 3rd party. That training required some time, because the DocuSign expert took the time to walk me through the 3rd party's configuration (how often does that happen?) so I could see how DocuSign should be best used to overcome weaknesses in the 3rd party platform. 10/10 expert care.
It was nice to be shown the basics of the system and be able to see or understand the specific functions our company would need to use, such as the template creation, document grouping and document group templates. Being taught on how to use these functions, made learning them much easier.
Until you get the hang of it, I recommend doing several internal tests before sending a document to a client. As I mentioned earlier, you have to go through a bit of trial and error at first to verify that the workflow works as expected.
Make sure you know exactly what you need before implementation and be sure to ask how to use the most important functions of the system that you will be using.
I would say that DocuSign's biggest competitor and a most similar product is Adobe Sign. They both offer almost identical features with Adobe offering a slightly better interface. Adobe Sign is also less costly than DocuSign while offering templates that can be useful for various activities. If you are looking for more branding options then Adobe offers a slight advantage but for corporate control, I would say DocuSign offers more security.
We looked at several different offerings such as HelloSign and DocuSign, but SignNow offered the same basic options for a lot less money. It was easy to implement and very user friendly. We didn't need a lot of bells and whistles which the other guys offered which honestly just complicated things.
