InsideSales Playbooks (formerly XANT Playbooks) aims to help SDRs and AEs quickly build closeable pipeline, by helping salespeople get a hold of more of the right people. InsideSales.com uses their A.I.-platform called Neuralytics to target likely buyers combined with their cadence engine to help sales reps consistently engage all of their prospects in a personalized way. Just like Waze from Google helps drivers get to their destination quickly based on the data from other drivers,…

Chose InsideSales Playbooks
I was not a decision maker in choosing to utilize Playbooks. I would actually prefer to use SalesLoft as that platform was much smoother and easier to use. The pop-out email boxes felt like they were similar to what we are all familiar with in outlook and It was easy to adopt. …
We switched from InsideSales Playbooks to SalesLoft. Salesloft is much easier to use and more intuitive. We had previously used Inside SalesPlaybooks before they changed their name just so we had the powerdialer plug in in Salesforce then tried implementing PlayBooks and it was …
SalesLoft was similarly featured and cost-effective, while having one of the best UXes. Outreach appeared clunky and complicated; Xant seemed pieced together and not unified. All of them had similar functionality, but I really liked the simplicity of the integrations in …
When we were doing our evaluations prior to subscribing to SalesLoft we looked at these other 4 options. At the time we quickly whittled the group to just SalesLoft and Outreach as the other three solutions were just not evolved enough to handle our needs. We settled on …
SalesLoft has a much nicer UI and connection with Salesforce. Unfortunately, when we moved away from Salesforce we were not able to continue using SalesLoft as a fully integrated tool.
It is well suited for any sales department, to try to get ahold of the person you are trying to get ahold of. Playbooks has increased the number of decision makers that I can get ahold of on a day to day basis. This tool would probably be less suited for people that do not have calls to make outside of the company.
In my experience, Salesloft is suitable for BDR/SDR teams that need to manage a lot of outbound activities in support of inbound leads, event-based leads, and pure cold calling and cold-emailing. Prior to implementing Salesloft the BDR/SDR job was very hard to do well as there was very limited automation and a lot of manual tasks required to get everything just right. Our volume of meetings booked and opportunities generated has more than doubled as a result of implementing Salesloft.
The ability to filter specific plays or pieces of information so that it's more user-friendly for the overall organization. Essentially, more room to customize the organization of accounts and how you're working them.
The initial onboarding process of accounts results in high levels of tasks - the ability to break these down in an easier way to help with time management would be helpful.
The inbound dialer. I don't particularly like having to open a second window just for inbound calls. Especially if I forget to close it during a meeting and get interrupted.
The texting interface. I can have emails templated, to fill fields pulled from the lead profile, like name, company, positions, etc. I would like the same functionality for texting, especially since I send as many texts as I do emails. Even being able to save snippets or templates would be nice.
On the note of texting, having a dedicated tab in the People view for text messages would do a lot to let me catch up on other people's conversations with the lead, instead of having to find them on the main Activity tab.
It only took a day to get comfortable with Playbooks. The ease of use and overall usability is fantastic in the sense that it's pretty straightforward once you get enough repetitions in the tool. I also like all of the videos and resources available if support is needed
SalesLoft is a fantastic product that will be extremely helpful to any Sales Rep looking to organize their information and stay one step ahead. While it has its shares of quirks and bugs it proves to be an awesome tool for anyone that is in the sales industry.
The Insidesales Playbooks is by far more intuitive and organized than other programs I have used in the past. Unfortunately I have not had experience with other products that are available out there. I would hope we will see more improvements from the ISDC tool as we all use it more and provide feedback
ZoomInfo Engage is too clunky to use. User experience is terrible and not friendly. Too many clicks to do many things that are much easier to do in Salesloft. The native integration to Zoominfo contact data (Sales OS) is nice, but is no better than the integration between Zoominfo Sales OS and Salesloft. We also churned off of Apollo.io because the site continually crashed while my reps were doing cold calls. When you can't use the platform, we can't do our job.
