Teams is the best of the company message tools that I have used so far because it integrates so many functionalities. Teams goes way beyond the instant messaging or video calls features with screen-sharing. It integrated with your calendar, enables you to do task tracking (e.g. …
User experience is of a higher level and integrates well into Outlook. Using the tool to facilitate user testing with participants outside the company is a breeze too.
Moving to Microsoft Teams from IBM Sametime chat services provided Intact a great ahead into the productivity and response times for both internal and external customers/brokers. Sametime doesn't have the capability to make voice calls from either a desktop or a mobile app …
I used Mural before Miro. I liked that it had quite a few templates, but disliked how ugly things got quickly. the restrictive design system of Miro means that you have to work HARD to make things ugly (though my SOs certainly seem to find a way).
Its a good product for a wider range of user types/users from a range of teams. It does a wide scope of functionalities. From whiteboarding, presentation creation, workshopping, onboarding space, and more!
Both Miro and MURAL have similar feature sets, but Miro was better thanks to the seamless integrations with a wide range of apps, the exporting capabilities, support for large groups and collaboration sessions, and the entire experience feeling smoother and more intuitive. …
I think it's pretty comparable. I used Mindmap more for creating flow diagrams, like you would in Visio. And I used Miro more for product roadmaps, not process flow diagrams.
Google is actually decommissioning Jamboard and I think it's because they know other people are doing it much better. Teams also has a whiteboard feature that I find uninspired and I'm unlikely to use it unless it's out of bare necessity. I've never tried Mural so I can't speak …
In many cases the other tools did a single thing better than Miro but overall Miro better solved all our needs. In some cases, like FigJam the hurdle was licensing. Teams just doesn't have an awesome set of features. MindMap is good for what it is but not so good for other …
The level of integration btw Miro and the other products we use has been a huge factor. The ease of use and the depth of capability in the product. We already has a large number of users in Miro already (and a number using other products) so this was predominately a …
Mural and Miro seem extremely similar. I'm not as familiar with Mural but love all the tools in Miro for conducting actual sessions (timers, voting, etc.). FigJam is terrible - no comparison there.
We still have tutors who prefer how they used to do things. The fact that I am able to convince most (not all) of these often stodgy academics to switch to Miro after one demonstration is a testament to how its simple to use interface is truly unique in the market.
Mural was already a tool adopted by 3M prior to the Pandemic. However, it had low adoption with many users frustrated with its model, both from a usability and as a business model. It also did not support our design process well.
The whiteboard workspace is a game changer as it allows many team members to work seamlessly together without anyone working as a silo. monday.com was a good resource for organization and tracking of info (something Miro could do better) but the work sharing opportunity is a …
Miro is more user friendly than Smartsheet, and provides for a much more free-hand use and variety of expressions than all of the above. When it comes to project management and calendar or process management, Miro is less functional and the only advantage is really that it is …
Miro gained the upper hand against the other products that we evaluated because it showed great capabilities of being a wholesome work management platform for not just team collaboration but also for planning our work as a team, visualizing the work plans using diagrams like …
I also tried Microsoft Whiteboard. Miro's quality far surpasses ANY other product in its category in terms of robust features, ease of including board collaborators, and the vast collection of available templates.
My team is able to collaborate and communicate in real-time thanks to Miro collaborative features. It helps give a bird eye view of our projects we're working on and this also allows our clients to easily understand what we're doing and put in their contribution as well. It has …
