Spiff

Spiff has removed the manual processes we had in place to receive our commission reports and details. It's made it easier to plan my budgeting because I know exactly what my compensation will look like and I see real time updates to this data and how it affects me, how it has affected me and how it will affect me based on trends. Really excited our company moved forward with Spiff as it has saved everyone time and removed a lot of friction.

  • Some formulas and coding are not that intuitive
  • Sometimes Spiff is too transparent with the information that is shared on the reps' plans from a front-end perspective
  • There are many workarounds that we code (specifically with statement cards on the front-end) that take more time

There are certainly tech options out there that take a huge learning curve to adapt to, but Spiff was easy and intuitive to hop into right off the bat. Using the app is easy and on the laptop, either option is simple enough to navigate and find the information I look for.

I'm rating it a 7 right now but, a year ago, it would have been 10. Customer service had deteriorated since they moved to SAP umbrella. No information about acquisition/transition. Our CSM, RSM all are no longer a part of this new group and support queries take weeks to close

The training was conducted by our Spiff Account Manager and they would even create recorded videos we could send to the sales team so when they log in, they would understand how to use Spiff. Account managers at Spiff are a huge reason why I like that company.

Spiff

Spiff has a cleaner, more streamlined platform with easier usability. At the end of the day, Sales just wants to know what revenue is being recognized and what is being paid to them. If there's a discrepancy, Sales wants a quick, painless way to see what deals/programs are being recognized at what rate. The functionality it sounds like is available but that my org is not using for Sales is the ability to respond/make changes within the platform. Our Sales really only gets a "read-only" view.

  • We have had only positive feedback on how it has changed how people approach their sales weekly and daily.
  • The transparency has led to greater customer satisfaction within the company in recent reviews as well as a significant reduction in complaints regarding commissions and also people leaving the company due to dissatisfaction with commissions.
