UserTesting is excellent for solving complex content problems. A lot of work I do is based on compliance messaging, some of which is convoluted and confusing for users. If I can test variants of the content on users to find a way that's both compliant and user friendly then I've done my job well, UserTesting is essential in helping me do that. Regarding less appropriate scenarios, I honestly can't think of anything specific that affects my career. It would not be easy to use for physical product testing, considering the platform is online only.

I'm very happy with my experience of the product and the level of service and learning resources they provide. If the service becomes more expensive than it currently is then we might not be able to justify additional cost - but this is theoretical. I would recommend UserTesting and would ideally renew our contract.
I don't know if it's because of the way that the tasks/questions are inputted on the back end, especially with the different types of questions (verbal, multiple choice, scale, etc), I only found out after I've launched a test an error with my test plan even after I've gone through multiple rounds of review before launching. My eyes don't seem to catch errors well on the back-end even despite me working off a Google document of the test plan
We already had some meetings with the team, and the support was great. Also, e-mail responses used to be fast, and the CS team seems to be always available to help. Recently, we had problems recruiting participants, so they arranged a meeting to discuss this topic. So the support is great
From a technical perspective, the implementation was extremely smooth. Most of the change management / implementation hurdles were clearing use of the tool through our various security, legal, and information privacy teams. Once these concerns were addressed (UserTesting.com was very helpful in providing all the needed documentation), the implementation process was very simple and we were able to get going right away.
