While Domo connects to SO MANY platforms, it was very difficult for our company to get that data into Domo - it had its own proprietary tools that had a steep learning curve and was difficult for newer Data Analysts to understand. We did also have speed issues with some of the reports - causing major delays with development

Just about every application we used as a small business was available for direct connection to Domo. And as for the Data sources that don't auto work with Domo, they have made the API fairly easy to use to pull data in from more third party, or custom applications. I think they do a great job with this.

You can't beat their Salesforce Data Connector. Google Analytics, Facebook, are both well built out too.
Their Magic ETL tool is very helpful and if you don't know SQL it's not a problem. If you do know SQL even better, you can move over to their MySQL or Redshift instance and code away old school style. And you can hook up their workbench on your server and send data in from your SQL server via ODBC connection.

They probably has the most data sources connection supported in the market. At the time of this writing, they support > 400 types of connectors.
Combining data from various data sources is sleek and easy in Domo, very user friendly for business users while still allowing advanced ways for power users as well (e.g. SQL ETL, R Plugin).

DOMO has several hundred built-in connectors for various data sources and a separate application that allows data to be uploaded from pretty much any source that be connected to the application. Once the data is in DOMO, any set of tables can be joined together using a variety of tools. It is very easy to manipulate data once it's in DOMO.

Domo has a good mechanism for taking on-premise data and moving it into their Cloud. The Domo workbench software installs on the user’s network, fetches information on a regular basis and moves that data up to the Cloud- which in-turn feeds those amazing dashboard widgets.

Through APIs, Domo can pull both structured and unstructured data (think QuickBooks and social media) from on-premise or Cloud-based sources, into one view. Domo offers hundreds connectors right out of the box.

I haven't found a data source we couldn't connect to in Domo. We are even feeding statistical data in and out through the R connector. Merging the data together is something even end users can do. We're using the ETL in Domo as a tool to build prototype data sets, making data available to our customers that wasn't available before. No more waiting months or weeks for data. As those data flows mature, we transition them to ETL on our own servers (SSIS/MDS/DQS) where we can standardize and take advantage of data quality and master data rules. From there we feed the data back up to Domo without impacting any of the existing cards or dashboards.

Enormous range of built-in data sources, plus it can use anything you publish to Google Sheets, Box, S3, etc. Merging data sets requires SQL skills, but works beautifully and has built-in validation tests so you know immediately if there's an error. Real-time updates and scheduled updates available for datasets. Great stuff!

The program is great for creating graphical reports, charts, and dashboards with data from a number of data sources. It can connect to most external applications through automatic APIs. If your application doesn't have an API connection in the App store, then you can upload Excel workbooks. This can become a problem for maintaining data from current worksheets. The Domo administrator will need to watch these like a hawk because it's update notifications are easily missed leading to outdated data.

Domo provides over 1000 data connectors out of the box and Domo supports changes to those data connectors. Domo provides the capability to integrate data from other data sources that do not exist in their extensive data connector library. Domo provides ETL toolbox and database to integrate data, build time series analysis, support operational data store and dimensional star schema data modeling.

We successfully connected Salesforce data, product DB data, and Desk.com data. We tried connecting to Marketo, but we weren't able to easily get the insights we needed. They have a lot of pre-built connectors and [this] helps us with custom API work.

While some connectors are still more difficult than others, much easier than any other tool I've used to bring in data and manipulate at scale however you need to. Some API connections do take a while for us to run, but mostly due to the amount of data. We've connected 3 primary systems that are cloud based along with multiple spreadsheets being updated from other systems that we have not yet connected into.

We have very few issues setting up new data sources (it's easy), and once they are set up, they will refresh on a schedule that we determine. We have virtually no issues with DOMO. Any issues that we do have tend to arise from other sources such as an internal system that fails to produce a data set or a 3rd party software that fails to connect or refresh.

Domo is usually pretty decent with connectivity, it accepts the most common data sources and tend to work well with bigger data sets. As an end-user, it seemed that all the data sources were merged well, but in some cases we had to write SQL to get the connections we needed.
The data set I used was being updated frequently, I'd say at least every 30 minutes. And the tool handled all the updates very well.

The data sources are decent and have been reliable thus far. You want to make sure that before purchasing Domo that your data has an API feed that can be hooked up to it. Otherwise, you're rendered with a near useless product, or rather a very cumbersome one. Luckily we were already set to go on most our feeds.
