Both EC2 and [Oracle Cloud Infrastructure] compute instances are great. But if I have to choose one of them I will go for [Oracle Cloud Infrastructure] because of its user-friendliness. I prefer [Oracle Cloud Infrastructure] object storage over Amazon S3 because of oracle's robust security.

OCI was the ideal place for our MySQL database and storage solutions due to customer requirements. One of the primary reasons we selected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure was due to its great monitoring abilities. It allows us to do extensive log analysis for auditing purposes, view the performance and see (where if atall there are any issues). It allows us to also reveal helpful stats and metrics for presentations.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) competes with several major cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and others. Here is why we consider selecting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure: Strong for Oracle Workloads, Comprehensive Cloud Services, Autonomous Database, Hybrid Cloud Support, Competitive Pricing and Global Data Center Presence.

When compared to AWS, Azure, and Veem, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure appeared to have a more robust offering for our primary objective of Disaster Recovery. The Oracle single click disaster recovery plan creation tool was especially beneficial as this is our first true implementation of disaster recovery preparation, and we found the automated assistance very valuable. The monitoring and management panel is concise and easy to understand - not something that can be said for all the competitors. The ability to manage the entire disaster recovery plan from beginning to end is nice.

We don't face any issues with Google Cloud Platform, it's just like we want to save some billing costs so we looked for other solutions like Digital Ocean or Linode, but we found Oracle Cloud Infrastructure best suited for our requirements. Its region wise segregation also helped us in our requirements.

We used Microsoft Azure and Docker earlier and faced some difficulties like Microsoft Azure and Docker. Occasionally, the generation of large images can delay deployment. It is also necessary for me to admit that Microsoft Azure and Docker have a somewhat steep learning curve. Proper paperwork needs to be there. Docker has issues with performance on a number of platforms. On the other hand, OCI is easy to deploy and easy to understand.

  • Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS)
Services are almost the same, but OCI can provide more resources at the same price, our application can easily do the migration, and also, OCI also provides free VPC Site to Site VPN, which helps us create a security path from local to remote.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure provides strong and Innovative database services with its enterprise Autonomous Database and Exadata Features. Oracle Database management can make huge workloads autonomously. OCI in addition is more cheaper compared to it's other competitors in the industry.
For initiation, OCI also provides free trainings and free usage trials which is good to evaluate one's use cases.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure excels in website hosting Oracle workloads. It gives optimized infrastructure and database offerings for Oracle Database, making it a natural preference for businesses heavily reliant on Oracle technology. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's close proximity to Oracle Database enables low latency, making it the perfect choice for applications that demand fast data retrieval. These are the two among many reasons that make Oracle Cloud Infrastructure stronger as compared to others.

Azure IaaS app services offer basic functionality with components and many connectors that can be applied. The difference I felt was that OCI feels more intuitive, and each add-on module or component actually works within the core infrastructure, whereas, with Microsoft products, you are almost, in a sense, left and pushed off at times to 3rd party providers to integration past the standard implementation scenario. This does not happen with OCI.

OCI does not stack up against these products due to their wide range of services, support, and ease of troubleshooting. There is an abundance of tutorials on the services provided by the competition, which makes them more easy to use. However, OCI is very competitive in pricing.

We use AWS and Google Cloud widely in our organization. However, we also use Oracle Databases for critical business, and OCI integrates well. We use OCI to test out our hypothesis for a rapid product. The Free tier is extremely useful to play around before committing.

There are numerous cloud providers in the market and I feel Oracle is very underrated for its capabilities and offerings . It has huge potential and it brings in very huge discounts for existing Oracle customers with unlimited licensing , if you are an existing ULA subscriber it brings discounts on customer support and credits that can be used in other areas

have used several other cloud functions provided by different companies but I found Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to be more user friendly and easy to understand and implement, also it has a global reach with different regions. OCI also has advantage of different database connectivity as it takes less time for migration from one service to OCI.

Compared to its competitors, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is the best solution for autonomous databases which reduces the overall operational burden on the team. It is best suited for regulated industries like Banking due to its enhanced compliance and security along with its support for Hybrid cloud which makes it easier to handle complex multi-cloud infrastructure.

In one liner, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is second only to AWS in terms of cost effectiveness. But availability wise and performance wise it is at par with Amazon Web Services. Acquia Cloud doesn't have much comparison against Oracle Cloud Infrastructured as the later is better in almost all ways possible. But if you are looking for something reliable which keeps your sites available and performing efficiently for almost all the time then Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is your answer.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) competes effectively with cloud giants like AWS, Azure and GCP. OCI's standout features include robust security and compliance measures, transparent pricing with cost optimization tools, high-performance computing capabilities, seamless integration with Oracle databases, and a global network presence. Its autonomous- databases services reduce administrative overhead, while developer-friendly tools and strong SLAs contribute to reliability. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a more compelling option due to its security-conscious nature and a more seamless integration with Oracles databases.

With the demo project and trial version we checked the performance, We measured some parameters like time taken in the socket connection, time taken in the api response with and without media. So that was some criteria for us to choose the proper platform, And overall we found Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is best and suitable to us. Thats why we selected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

MS Azure has huge foot print, simple and easy to use. However, Price is little bit Costlier.

Comparatively with same level of service Oracle Cloud Infrastructure offer economic solution.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is very similar to other providers and I like to use them next to the others. This helps with redundancy and gives me a good way of having my cloud instances spread. Others can be a bit more configurable, but overall it works well and I can do what I need it to do.
