Needed user level backups that were fast and easy to restore with limited staff and skillsets. Data loss had occurred in the past and it hurt the organizational reputation. Once implemented and used the solution quickly paid for itself and we have been using the product successfully for many years now and plan on staying with Veeam.

We implemented Office 365 and the vendor recommended it to us
We had a couple of instances with users deleting or dragging/losing folders in their mailboxes. Along with issues importing/overwriting contacts. When we moved our email to the O365, we knew that we needed a way to restore mailbox folder, contacts and even calendars that Microsoft did not keep past copies of. We use Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 for our network and VMware servers.

When people left the company, there were always things (One Drive files, emails, etc) missing. Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 helps with all of that.

Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 Review
We were looking for a new backup solution for our business and wanted to be able to backup all our VMs as well as Office 365 so we could ensure we were always covered. Veeam Backup & Replication doesn’t have 365 backup within it so we looked to Veeam for 365 and it was a perfect project to go alongside.
In the event of an outage or ransomware attack an offline backup was required. I didn't want to use anything built into O365 but rather a tool that would work in a Hyper V.
There was rampant cases of data mismanagement from various departments. Ransomware attacks were common and we lost a lot of data before we came to realize existence of this useful platform. The manual processes that we used before were slow and they were more costly and vulnerable. Most of the data that was being safeguarded for future reference vanished after the Harddisk which we used to depend on crushed.

Veeam 365 works well.
When alot of our content was on premise we backed it up. We wanted this same option for our cloud data. The Veeam Backup for 365 met this desire. The product was easy to trial and test and we eventually purchased it. The restores have worked well.

Just try it
Customers were used to having their Exchange on premise infrastructure backed up, and when they moved to Office 365, they asked if they could do the same. Initially I tried to rely on the eDiscovery service but it was too complicated and didn't always give the desired results. After a short search I found this product that fully satisfied my needs

Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 is an excellent solution for Office 365 data backup!
Once we switched to Office 365 I realized we had no other way to securely back up our emails. Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 provided us with that solution and fit within our budget. Excellent product, excellent support, and excellent security for our data. Highly recommended to anyone using Office 365.

Veeam Backup for office365 - it just works!
The most important aspect was that all the components of Office 365 were covered. We found that there were hole in our backup solution which weren't covered by the free software that we were using. As we were currently using Veeam B&R, this software was a logical addition.

There are easier backup solutions, which cost FAR less. Look around and be absolutely sure before buying. It's expensive.
I don't inherently trust any service and like to maintain my own backups. Additionally, we need to have offsite or cross region copies for regulations we must adhere to.

Great software for backing up 365 Data.
After moving from an on premise exchange server to Office 365, we wanted to be able to have regular backups of our data similar to what we already had in place.
The Microsoft-provided processes for archiving this data proved consistently error prone and therefore unreliable. We tested Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 as a PoC, and it showed itself to reliably backup and restore all of the data we attempted to backup and restore (very large and complex mailboxes and OneDrive contents). Removing this manual process from our regular tasks not only allowed us to focus on tasks more efficiently, but it gave us confidence that data we had archived would be accessible if necessary (such as a FOIA request).

Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is a great solution for backing up cloud to onsite storage
Backups are critical for us. We knew as we transitioned from on-premises Exchange to the cloud we would need to find a product that could backup and protect our data. After a bit of research we decided that Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 looked like the best option, and we are very happy with our choice.

Veeam for M365 - it does just work!
After reviewing the options for backup out of the box with Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 it became clear we would need a third-party solution to backup our data in M365. As an existing Veeam customer for our on-premise backups we reviewed the Veeam backup for M365 along with some other vendors. We decided to go with Veaam because we trusted the product and have been very happy since.

Great product, easy to use
Heard of several cases where O365 accounts disappeared completely and Microsoft couldn't restore any data.
Ensuring data is backed up properly and quickly recoverable is a requirement for our organization. Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is the "bar-setter" for backup solutions. After researching and looking at competitors in the data backup market we reached out for licensing quotes and Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 came back affordably and with the team's previous knowledge and experience using Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 it made the purchasing decision a no-brainer.
