Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

We use ADP Workforce Now across our entire organization. Although the functionality seems somewhat endless, we primarily utilize the tool for payroll process, time and attendance, HR, talent management, applicant tracking and posting, tax filing, benefit administration and management, etc. This tool has enabled us to transition to more automated processes and ultimately a better employee experience.
  • I'm a huge fan of the workflows as we're able to put controls on the fields that matter most
  • Tax filing
  • Reporting, it's a super friendly UI and extremely comprehensive
  • I would like to see one set of validation tables across all company codes as opposed to managing separate sets in each
  • When needing urgent support and calling the hotline we've often been given bad advice or a setting was changed which ultimately caused a lot of drama. Basically, I'd like for these folks to actually be helpful.
  • More intuitive security, it's a labyrinth.
  • Integrated time and attendance with payroll for less error, work, and friction
  • Robust reporting and dashboard enable excellent analytics/reporting
  • Applicant tracking has greatly sped up time to hire, administrative burden, and allowed us to keep recruiting overhead lean
This is where I see the biggest opportunity for improvement as I do believe it's extremely flexible and scalable but only when operating from a single EIN/company code. We're a multi-site and multi-EIN organization so the fact that we have to duplicate all of our payroll tables and calculations through 7-10 different EINs is an obnoxious amount of working administrating and ensuring everything is consistent.
  • Fidelity
  • Cigna
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
We've established auto-feeds to all our benefits and retirement providers and it was a relatively easy process to achieve.
ADP seems much more flexible and robust with regards to what you can do but doesn't necessarily make it easy to actually do. Paycom seemed like they had a more employee "friendly" UI and shared tables but seemed a lot more rigid with regards to how you can do certain things or if you can even do them.

Do you think ADP Workforce Now delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with ADP Workforce Now's feature set?

Yes

Did ADP Workforce Now live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of ADP Workforce Now go as expected?

No

Would you buy ADP Workforce Now again?

Yes

I took over ADP Workforce Now almost three years ago and we were in a really bad place hence the reassignment. Since then, we've worked closely with our dedicated support team and have made a significant amount of positive changes which couldn't have been done without them. If we didn't have a dedicated team, I would be very dissatisfied with the service as most of the folks aren't very helpful when you call the hotline. The custom report writer team is excellent though.
It's
a very comprehensive tool that can handle just about anything. In my mind, how
time and attendance is handled/set-up, payroll, applicant tracking, benefits
administration and management, and the tax filing services are all very well
done. Where I find it lacking especially in payroll is the inability to have
shared validation tables across multiple EIN's.
