Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

We are a global company and all US employees use ADP Workforce Now. Among other things, we use it to track time for hourly EEs and PTO for hourly and salary EEs. Unfortunately, there is a glitch in the PTO plans that started removing and adding PTO time for both hourly and salary EEs without any notification to users so EEs found the problem and it's a mess that HR is working to clean up with the help of ADP. It's not helpful if things like this happen. Although that's not often, it is often enough to be a thing and administratively it's a huge headache.
  • Building custom reports.
  • Knowledgeable service reps.
  • Timekeeping capabilities with bio and swipe clocks.
  • PTO plans are not very clear during setup and the glitch I mentioned earlier in this review.
  • Standard reports don't allow filtering for only active employees.
  • Creating my own reports is not user-friendly. A lot of 'tech-speak' but it doesn't look like quality control or testing really spends a lot of time using products to be sure users at all levels can utilize everything easily.
  • searching for answers in The Bridge is not always easy and a lot of older issues don't have new solutions so it's not clear whether old inquiries and problems have been changed/corrected.
  • The administrative hours spent correcting PTO plan issues this year and other glitches in previous years has been taxing on our department. Hopefully this will change soon but not sure.
I believe we could be using other products and processes within ADP but the training is difficult to accomplish because, like most other companies' HR Depts. I've talked to, we are short-handed and don't seem to have time for the training needed to utilize those options. This is not completely ADP's fault, of course, but maybe categorizing training videos with enhancement releases, etc. might be helpful to resolve this issue. That would make it much easier to access necessary training instead of having to go all over to find answers to questions and instructions for using available products.
  • TimeBank
  • Automated 401K file feed
TimeBank is a nightmare but has been used to calculate some hourly employees' pay with more complicated calculation requirements.
I did not select ADP WFN but I've used Netchex and neither are perfect and both have struggles in different areas. Both also push out 'enhancements' that don't really address true problems that actual users have and are more 'showy' but less substantial for people who are just looking for accuracy and easier implementation and processing, etc.

This is difficult because our Rep is incredible but she doesn't always get the support she deserves either. I can see she tries to research and help with issues that are presenting themselves but there is a lot of back and forth between Service and other departments who don't have to speak with clients directly and therefore are not as invested in their positive outcomes as our Rep is.
Pros: It is good to have a great service rep—we've had both good and bad so we definitely appreciate the great one we have now. Time and Attendance reps seem to always know what to do when called with problems with time clocks. Reporting Reps are good at their jobs, for the most part, sometimes we have to go back and forth until the final product is correct but they are usually knowledgeable and easy to work within the Reporting Dept.

Cons: The PTO tracking and plans are fallible and this is a huge administrative issue for HR and Payroll depts to have to correct. Standard reports should be a little more flexible regarding filters, etc. We use WFN for an automated file feed to our 401K vendor but, if we run more than one payroll in a week, we have to create a Service Request to make sure files are sent to the vendor for all payrolls processed in that week because, if not, they don't send and that's a potentially huge issue with 401K compliance policies.
