Overall Satisfaction with Atera

As a single-person business, I use Atera to remotely monitor and support all my customers' IT and network needs. As its pricing model is per support technician and not per user or device, it is much more cost-effective for small businesses like mine.

  • Remote access of client devices--three different methods/options
  • Does its own basic invoicing and links to key accounting packages as well
  • Integration of contact details (customers) to other packages/CRMs could be better
  • I moved from a competitive (and quite complex) service that was costing me twice as much for the same amount of endpoints. With Atera, I can install agents on all of my clients (not just the manage service contracted ones).
I used Managed Workplace when it was an Avast/AVG product. I prefer Atera, as it is easier to use and more cost effective.
Atera does everything it says on the box ! It is easy to use. Remote monitoring is easy to set up. The automation and scripting are great (with an ever increasing library of user-donated scripts). I occasionally use contractors when I need to have time off and they have always commented on how good they thought Atera was.
It has made me more efficient cost-wise. So many functions in one portal and at a lower monthly outlay than I was previously paying and I can have all my customers on one support platform.
In my opinion, Atera is perfect for small/micro IT support businesses and scales well to be able to grow with these businesses.
