Keeping alumni database current

  • maps the location of our alumni to help plan many donor visits per trip
  • tracks giving of donors with soft credit links to business or spouse relationships
  • quick access to past donor contacts noting person making contact and type
  • easy clicks to store much data with donor profile
  • losing the ability to compose/print/track letters within the system created longer record keeping
  • maintaining donor contact information
  • tracking donor giving
  • great access to previous contacts with a given donor and noting who made the contact
  • plenty of storage of specific donor visits/calls/interactions

We can see the potential donor's wealth rating and propensity to donate. This can be helpful,but doesn't assure that donor will give to our entity. Nevertheless, this data provides insights we would not otherwise have, and can lead to bigger "asks" of the donor.

I only use it for donor giving; I do not use it for event registration or attendance.
When traveling to a specific locale, I always use the locator tool with its various parameters to find donors in a given area. Using this tool, I can contact and possibly have a personal visit 8-10 donors/potential donors in one location in one week.
Having the Solicitor option keeps my personal cadre of donors always in mind and easy to contact.
