Overall Satisfaction with CaptivateIQ

Creates and automates simplified plans with minimal oversight. New plan set up is very technical but follows simple common logic. Currently, we have 5-6 different comp plans and CaptivateIQ keeps in all in one place and manages the plans with automatic refreshes from our data sources.

Pros

  • Provides meaningful information to plan participants
  • Ability to manually override data without having to change the original data source
  • Plan set up can be adjusted to how your team works and there isn't a set way to build. Very adjustable

Cons

  • Reporting and Dashboarding isn't very intuitive
  • Improved productivity on plan management and payouts
  • Rep visibility in commissions improved
CSM was always responsive and enjoyed working with the solutions team

Data on commissionable activities has to be clean and centrally located. If the comp plan isn't consistent across team, it may not make sense to do this since there would have to be multiple plans with different structures and the upkeep could be a lot for individuals.
