Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use CaptivateIQ to calculate all our sales teams commissions on a monthly basis. The software is great for being able to generate statements and share them easily in one centralized location and being able to calculate commissions automatically by just uploading the raw data.

Great customer service when reaching out
Making calculation commissions quicker and more efficient
Customizable so that you can edit plans and view them how you see fit

Building of commission plans is still tricky and confusing at points
Make it easier to change how certain reports can be viewed and exported

Positive impact on productivity as I can spend less time having to calculate commissions
Positively impacted our organization skills and process of being able to track our approval process and saving of the commission plans

Support Rating

Always very quick to respond to any inquiries I've had. They do charge extra if you need a lot of help, which I haven't needed. I've spoken with our account rep sporadically and he always responds in a quick and efficient manner. I don't think they have a customer support phone number, as I've only dealt with email and through their website, so that would be the only draw back.

We liked the pricing of CaptivateIQ and the structure of how you could edit plans with CaptivateIQ. The rep for Captivate IQ was much more engaging and willing to help us when we were looking at different plans and pricing. We ended up going with Captivate IQ for that reason.

CaptivateIQ is great where I can upload 1 set of data, and it can calculate the commissions for 10+ employees all at once. Then you can easily create an approval flow on approving commissions and then sending it out to the employees seamlessly. Making changes to users profiles is easy as well and editing basics for commission plans is easy as well. Some difficult areas relate to there being no distinguishing between currency amounts. If I want to sort by highest to lowest, it'll treat all the numbers the same instead of converting to USD and sorting it all using the same currency.
