Overall Satisfaction with Chorus by ZoomInfo
Chorus records and transcribes our sales calls, and pulls out pertinent information we can use to propel the potential customers through the sales process. The program is able to draw out nuggets of information for us to use in our subsequent outreach. We can create snippets of conversations to send to prospects, so they remember important parts of the conversations. We are also able to listen to each other's calls for training purposes.
- Training: We are able to listen to team member's meetings to learn from a good sales call, and/or to offer helpful advice for future calls.
- Creating smaller snippets: We can create snippets of the calls to send in follow up emails to the meeting attendees.
- Analytics: analyses of meetings are helpful for our management team. They're able to determine how often each person was talking about which topics, etc. It's helpful during their one-on-one meetings
- AI tool: their transcription AI tool has improved, but could be better. It isn't always as accurate as it could be.
- Comes in late: We would like Chorus to come to the conversation as we first arrive at the online meeting. Meetings will often start early as soon as a guest come son the call. However, Chorus will turn on a couple minutes after the meeting is set to begin. Their 'the meeting is being recorded' announcement then interrupts our call. We've asked about this several times, but Chorus is unable to have Chorus come on before the meeting time.
- Team members can easily disconnect calendars: while this feature is good in most circumstances, our team doesn't always turn it back on. Their concern is 'big brother' watching their calls. We are unable to stop them from toggling the program on and off.
- More targeted outreach: we don't need to send out plain, boring, generic follow up emails anymore. We can use Chorus to better follow up after meetings making this process more streamlined and effective.
- Fewer non essential meetings: We have a record of all our Chorus meetings, which we can look over to determine if another meeting is necessary or if we have exhausted the target.
- Review purposes: Since our Chorus meetings are archived, we can review key points from previous meetings before any subsequent meetings with those same people. We meet with a lot of folks, so this is helpful to keep track of all the key players.
The sales manager has found the analytics piece very helpful, especially during training sessions and one-on-one meetings. We'd like to start gamifying the analytics for weekly/monthly prizes. Who can get the most engagement from their meetings, who has the most meetings, who asks the best questions, etc. We also create playlists for one another for training purposes, as well.
Chorus integrates into Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and ZoomInfo Engage. While the platform is incorporated into Salesforce, we would like to see a somewhat better integration. Currently, we have to hunt around a little for the Chorus notes within our Salesforce org. It would be much better if these notes were added directly to the contact or account details for easier discovery. Allowing the team to find all the information in one location is better than having to go back and forth between the two platforms.
We have mostly used Chorus as we expected to do so. What we have appreciated the most were the analytic and keywords and phrases features. If there are better more innovative ways to use the platform, we would be open to discovering those and attempt to add them to our repertoire.
The support teams for the ZoomInfo suite of products has been hit or miss. While the people are great, friendly, and try to help, they aren't always able to solve all our concerns. Such issues as the system coming into meetings a couple minutes after we begin hasn't been solved, and we were told this is just how the platform is meant to work.
