Overall Satisfaction with Cloudflare

CloudFlare is an amazing tool for DNS. We use CloudFlare on most websites to host DNS to allow the clients' websites to have super fast load times. CloudFlare mirrors the website so the human (and bot) traffic is on the mirror, not the server, delivering faster page speeds and better uptime. We also get alerts from CloudFlare for any issues that need to be checked.

CloudFlare also offers a dev mode, so you can turn it off as you are working on a website to see updates in real-time. Great tools, just remember to clear your cache when not in dev mode to see your work!
  • Improves site speed
  • Reduces down time
  • Free DNS Service
  • Would be nice to be able to add users at the website level (not account level)
  • Reduces man-hours clearing server issues with overloaded sites.
  • Improves client relations, clients love that their sites are fast and stay up.
  • Free SSL for low budget clients is a great plus.
We like to use GoDaddy for hosting, but the smaller hosting accounts tend to crash with 1-2 users or 1-2 pages being worked in the back end of the site by 1 user. By using CloudFlare we can keep the site traffic off the server and manage our websites for clients with less down time. Once you have the system in place, CloudFlare will give you a lot more power with a small hosting account

Do you think Cloudflare delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Cloudflare's feature set?

Yes

Did Cloudflare live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Cloudflare go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Cloudflare again?

Yes

Excellent for managing server loads and site speed for our clients. Most would have to buy bigger hosting packages to handle their busy days, but CloudFlare picks up the traffic and reduces the burden on the server. Most clients can rely on smaller hosting accounts to keep their sites up.

Cloudflare Support

We rarely have to call in, most issues are user error. When we do have an issue we can hop on chat or the forum to figure out why something is not working as it should. We do see the occasional issue when a hosting account is upgraded, you have to make sure you reset the DNS to the new hosting account, IP address tend to change.
