Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control

ConnectWise Control (or formerly known as ScreenConnect) is used in our organization as a tool to remotely connect to residential customers on on-time session basis and with commercial customers on a regular access basis. The remote software is being used across our whole organization and addresses the problem of having to be at multiple places at once, when our repairs do not consist of hardware fixed, ConnectWise Control is our go to tool.
  • It is easy to deploy, use, and is reliable to connect when you need it most.
  • The cost is perfect for even the smallest providers.
  • The amount of customization with rebranding is just perfect.
  • Unlimited technicians would be nice at the standard level, but this is not an issue if you will not have other techs logged in at the same time.
  • Integration into more PSA's would be nice. We use it with RepairShopr currently but we would like to see an Atera integration as well.
  • Having a TechSuite integration would be nice too without having to add the executables into the tool box.
  • ConnectWise Control has saved us time and earned us more revenue from being able to connect from anywhere on any device that we provide service to.
  • Having the ability to access our tech tools is a time saver by allowing for all technicians to have access to the same tools without having to set up multiple tool boxes.
  • Overall the reliability is key. We used to use TeamViewer, but when TeamViewer failed, we just signed up for a trial to ConnectWise Control and it never failed. This is when we made the switch back and haven't looked back since.
We used ConnectWise Control when it was originally ScreenConnect and we have always had a love for it. We recently changed to TeamViewer because it was bundled in with our RMM software for a competitive price. However, the lowered cost was not worth it and we immediately switched back to ConnectWise Control. The reliability factor cannot be matched. LogMeIn Central is over complicated and great for large IT infrastructures but for our size ConnectWise is just right. Splashtop is also a good alternative that we have bundled into Atera but it lacks the feature of ConnectWise and we just use Splashtop as a backup just in case since it is included.
ConnectWise Control is suited well for any MSP, IT provider or computer repair shop. It has always provided us with 100% connection reliability and compatibility when being deployed onto workstations and servers. Their mobile app allows us to work from anywhere if we do not have access to a desktop.
