Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
We use ConnectWise Control to assist clients installing client software, troubleshoot network issues and identify UI issues. We also use it to perform monthly backups of databases that need to be done manually and use the file transfer function to gain configurations and log files from a clients environment. It has also been helpful in doing server reboots. We also utilize the screen capture and chat functions so we can run multiple sessions simultaneously.
Pros
- Easy to connect to remote system using support tab with code
- Full client install fast and easy and not many security warnings during install process
- Ability to send and receive files
Cons
- Sending and receiving files can be slow at times
- We have been able to standardize on this single tool and it it is easy to deploy and support.
- Response to time when when need to connect to clients' machines is faster and easier
- Team Viewer, Citrix Essentials and LogMeIn Rescue
Easier to deploy and more cost effective than the other solutions we looked at.
