Overall Satisfaction with Deputy
I use Deputy to manage the rostering, timekeeping and task management for my retail store. It is an effective and easy to use tool to manage these processes. It [is] straightforward for the staff to use as well.
Pros
- Rostering.
- Timekeeping.
- Onboarding new staff.
- Managing staff communications and tasks.
Cons
- I've never managed to integrate Deputy with Xero. This may be my problem, but it is difficult to manage the various award options.
- It would be great if Deputy could be tied to the various awards in Australia.
- Reoccurring tasks are not that easy to manage.
- It would be nice to attach files to tasks.
- The scheduling functionality was a big improvement over the manual process that we used previously. Rostering now takes about a quarter of the time than it did with a manual system.
- Communicating and monitoring tasks has added to our store efficiency and accountability ensuring that important tasks are completed in a timely manner.
