Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

We use Deputy for shift scheduling, PTO tracking, Leave Management, and Timesheet Approval for Payroll.
  • The scheduling module is well designed, allowing open and fill shifts with ease, and [the] option of approval for open shift pick up is great.
  • Leave management is a great feature. We can do PTO and Leave Management in one software now.
  • When it comes to timesheet export, the overtime rule is not flexible enough. We have to do [an] extra manual data process before [entering] it [into] our payroll software.
  • Time save for scheduling, estimated to be 8 hrs per week
I am not quite sure about this. I did not get to use when to work a lot.

Deputy does a very good job at scheduling functions, which is the most important function for my business. The added leave manage features [have] been constantly improved which is encouraging. I am hoping to see more flexibility or rules available for overtime calculation so it can further save me some time on payroll processing.
Yes, the overtime rules [are] very limited now. The 8-80 overtime rule is not available. Many [industries], especially healthcare, run on [a] 14-day pay period. [An] overtime rule based on [a] 14-day period is much needed.
For [a] business that is relying on shift workers, Deputy will be the best software to use.
