Overall Satisfaction with ExakTime
I use ExakTime every week to process payroll for the company. ExakTime is excellent for our particular field of construction because the geofencing allows us to keep an accurrate account of the employees no matter the location. It is also particularly simple to make corrections in the system when individuals forget to clock in and out.

ExakTime has definitely enabled us to keep up with the fast pace of the industry. A great deal of people are glued to their phone, so making a time clock on their phone is simply the best. I like the fact that you can adjust the settings to make it mandatory for employees to take a picture of themselves at the job. This feature stops time theft.
I used a software called Kronos, but it was actually for clocking in a warehouse where everyone is stationary. ExakTime is better suited for my particular field because we have multiple locations. I have also used ADP, but I prefer ExakTime because it is bundled with all the features that I need to keep track of my jobs.

Using ExakTime
145 - I have superintendents, foreman, administrative staff, and field employees that use Exaktime to punch their hours. The superintendents, foreman, and some administrative staff are salaried while the rest are hourly.
1 - I'm the sole Exaktime expert at the job site. I keep track of the time and make sure the employees are clocking in and out correctly. If there is an issue with geofencing I adjust the mapping so the employees can clock in appropriately. Exaktime can be monitored by a human resources assistants or payroll clerks which we have neither of. Math is definitely a skill that one must posses while operating Exaktime. A person must also know how to read a map and be able to negotiate grid coordinates.

Evaluating ExakTime and Competitors
Yes - ExakTime actually replaced the ProContractor program that we currently use. Exaktime is more user friendly and accountability oriented. In the construction industry, there are multiple projects that need to be completed at different locations. ExakTime allows us to keep track of the employees throughout the process of each project with the allocated time.
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
The single most important factor in our decision was ease of use. We needed something that everyone generally would be able to operate without calling a tier 3 operator. Integration with other systems was also a key decision. The Accountlinx portion of ExakTime allows a generated spreadsheet to be uploaded into ProContractor to assign money to each cost code used.
I would not change my evaluation at all.
