Overall Satisfaction with GiveSmart

Our donor database was outdated and the functionality caused simple office tasks to take much longer than needed. So outdated that it would no longer receive updates or support. We needed a user-friendly, more advanced software to maintain our donor information for accurate record-keeping, fundraising, event management, and marketing. GiveSmart offers a comprehensive solution with its three modules: Fundraise, Events, and DonorCRM.

Ultimately, we chose GiveSmart because it was the upgraded version of the Abila software we had already been using for years. Our donor records get a unique update each year that most donor CRM organizations don't know how to handle. We also liked how they offered the three modules: DonorCRM, Fundraise, and Events. Many other companies only offer one or two of those functions.
GiveSmart is easy to navigate once you become familiar with the functionality. The support team is very helpful, and their library of help articles is a comprehensive resource for answering almost any question.
We have been fortunate to work with Lynn Simon on regular training calls for the DonorCRM module. She has been extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable.
GiveSmart allows the user to customize the colors and images of donor forms, fundraising campaign pages, and more, which helps us keep a consistent brand image.
We have benefited from the personalized training and guided implementation. The data transfer process has taken longer than we had hoped, but they are trying to be as thorough and accurate as possible. Our trainer, Lynn Simon, has been instrumental in helping us understand how to use DonorCRM to its fullest capacity. We still need to get training for the Fundraise and Events modules.

GiveSmart is well suited for nonprofits with a budget to afford the yearly fee, which varies depending on the number of contacts in your database. It is appealing for charities who want to have their donor database, fundraising campaigns, and event management all within the same framework. Before now, we used WAY too many services and software to meet various needs.
