Overall Satisfaction with Gong

I use Gong to review sales calls and improve my scripts and talk length. It is also helpful for keeping up to date on other deals in the company and to learn by watching how other employees conduct their calls. We use it for sharing with our clients and making sure that everyone is up to speed on the deals.

  • Sometimes the recordings take a long time to upload
  • It has been positive because it enables quicker learning for our employees
  • It allows us to review calls and share recordings with clients and increase the likelihood of a deal going through
It is pretty easy to navigate and use overall. However, the interface is a bit dated in appearance and the recordings take a while to upload.
It has definitely provided accurate and actionable insights that have benefitted our business. The calls are easy to review and the talking %s have been helpful for improving our cadence with clients. I also like that we can share recordings with customers.
It has enabled us to compare calls from different time periods and see what is important to clients at specific times. I think that it is helpful for learning what is important to customers as well. If common themes arise in multiple calls, you can assume it's an issue for many companies.

Gong is great for a larger sales team that relies on collaboration between its members. I also think that it is helpful for an employee who wants to view and learn from other calls that are available. I think it is less suited for companies that do not conduct many sales calls or for very small companies.
