Overall Satisfaction with Gong

I use Gong to analyze other teammates' calls to be informed about movement with prospects. I also receive constructive feedback from my manager about my Gong calls.
  • Analyzing the percentage of time you're talking vs the prospect.
  • Transcribing the dialect into easy-to-read, follow-along captions.
  • Easily finding teammates, Gong calls.
  • Making the dashboard more simplified; it's a little busy.
  • Better organization within your Team's calls.
  • Maybe highlight key takeaways with the AI.
  • Greater alignment within our organization.
  • Good onboarding training, easy to watch videos and learn.
  • See everyone's different sales style.
It's very easy to search for other team members and certain calls.
I think Gong provides accurate insights but could do a better job of taking away key highlights and sectioning off the conversation as Otter does.
I think it's hard to track trends with so many calls to listen to but it keeps our team aligned with onboarding training and being able to get feedback on our own performance.
I liked how Otter highlights key factors in conversations, I haven't used it enough to choose it over Gong.

Gong is well suited for constructive feedback from team members. Scenarios, where it is less appropriate, are monitoring employees to a point where calls are strained from being "watched".
