Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM
We use HubSpot across our organization for sales, marketing and customer success to track our prospective and current accounts along with their respective contacts, deals etc. We've lightly implemented workflow, mostly along marketing for tracking of activity and conversion with our website. We recently hired a central administrator who sits in the marketing department.
Pros
- Cheap
- Easy to deploy
- Integration with gmail
Cons
- Reports and Dashboards lack any ability to customize
- Interface is horrible for sales reps to review account activity, everything gets nested requiring multiple clicks to open threads.
- Reports cannot be scheduled and sent via email.
- My entire team grumbles about HubSpot CRM. Nobody likes to use it, but it's what we have.
I didn't select HubSspot CRM, but I have used Salesforce and Siebel in prior roles, and even Siebel with its complexities was more efficient than HubSpot. Salesforce is the big player in CRM for a reason, which I would say is the ease of which you can customize and adapt it to your organization's needs. If you're needs are simple and you can work with an out-of-box CRM, HubSpot might be for you but my bet is you'll be looking to eventually switch off of it.
