Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training
We originally purchased KnowBe4 to use for the IT department as a way to get our techs up to speed with what current email security issues there are out there. After the trial went so well with the IT department and we saw how we could expand this to the entire company we moved forward to help educate all our users.
Pros
- Explains complex security issues in easy to understand ways
- Well designed, easy to use user interface
- Short videos packed with easily digestible topics
Cons
- The modules are quite vast and to get a fully rounded product you need many of them
- Getting good detailed reports that are useful for dept heads is a little cumbersome
- Pricing was lower back when we got it but has risen quite a bit
- We would like to think we have taught our users enough to have stopped a potential cyber attack!
- Our users are always on the lookout for phishing scams now and seem to be able to spot them
- Money saved having to pay some hackers for ransomware!

Would you buy KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training again?
Yes
They always seem to be up to date on what new techniques the hackers are using out in the real world. We also get very timely topics that match what's going on in the world that a user would be interested in clicking on. It seems they have quite the team of ex hackers on board keeping them ahead of the bad guys!
As far as I know, we simply exported the original list of users into the system and then later changed over to an LDAP connection that would keep our users in sync with our system. It automatically pulls in their emails and begins them in education right from the start.
Being able to give a manager or department head the breakdown of which users in their departments fell for a phishing campaign or clicked a certain link is invaluable. Being able to create automatic reports that get sent on a regular basis keeps them up to date with who has the training, or who needs additional training.
