Get the job done with the least friction!
Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
We use Mailchimp with multiple clients to manage their email campaigns, some landing pages, and even have it connected to a few woocommerce stores. As an agency owner, I love the fact that I can switch between multiple clients from a single login, and I know that the product will deliver on his promise. Mailchimp allows us to create engaging emails and schedule them ahead of time for clients.
Pros
- Tons of integrations
- User-friendly email builder
Cons
- Would love to see a visual automation builder
- Need the ability for users on a current list to have updated tags without creating a new list when sending via zapier or WordPress
- With clients paying for their own account it’s been a great ROI for us!
Mailchimp does emails very well and is a great solution for clients just starting out. If we want to manage multiple clients who are in that category it makes sense to use mailchimp for us. We have gone with other platforms like MailerLite to save some money for the client or GetResponse for individuals who need funnels in their email.
I have utilized landing page builders on Mailchimp a few times in order to quickly capture emails and that has been a success. As a web developer they still have a long way to go in order to really have landing pages be the most useful solution. I have not spent a whole bunch of time using the Facebook ads side of it but I imagine it to be very useful.
We have succeeded in consistently delivering email campaigns for clients, and have been able to work as a team in the platform and get reviews from the client. As an overall workflow it has worked very well, and I am happy with how usable it is and the quality it delivers. Sometimes it’s not about all the fancy bells and whistle ‘s, but it’s about the ability to get it done with the least amount of friction. Mailchimp does a good job of that!
