Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp

We use Mailchimp to reach our prospects, current clients, and customers. We are B2B and B2C, and as a result, have unique campaigns for each group. That being said, we use Mailchimp to send holiday emails, notifications of changes to our business, offers, as well as news/media releases. Mailchimp helps us to keep our unique contact groups structured, maintained, and managed. This is a great option for small businesses, or entrepreneurs just starting out-and has the flexibility for scaling. We like [its] templates, and, the ability to customize our own email layouts, headers, and more.
  • Manage contact list databases
  • Provide easy to edit templates for communications
  • Offers streamlined branding opportunities, even when reaching out to different segments
  • Keeps track of who/who is not interested in our services
  • Easy UI- a stronger drag and drop functionality would really help
  • Heavier training for non-technical users
  • Positive ROI- we have been able to reach customers that would not have normally known our brand/name.
  • Mailchimp allows us to keep track of prospects, and how they respond to our campaigns and news releases.
  • Using Mailchimp helps us to share important information for those who are not [active] on social media.
Mailchimp has an affordable, tiered pricing structure. Their UI, while not as strong as some of their competitors, is good enough to get the job done. With tech-savvy team members, newsletters and emails can easily be customized to offer consistent branding for any form of communication. Their scheduled email systems are easy to use, especially if you need to edit/make a change. Their security measures are strong and [provide] security, especially with everyone working remotely.
Usability [is] not bad, requires a bit of a learning curve. However, for the pricing structure that Mailchimp offers, it's worth the time and effort to get to know how to [set up] templates for communications. This would not be software that I would recommend for anyone who is not tech-savvy, unless they have the time to learn how to use their functions and features, before auctioning out with a campaign.
We enjoy using Mailchimp, because it allows us to manage our contact list, in a safe and secure way. Our lists, [oftentimes,] change depending on our campaigns. With Mailchimp, we can easily make changes, create new lists, and send professional emails without limits. This is important, especially during times when we need to communicate urgently, and precisely. Mailchimp solves all of these problems with their software and more.
We've had the best success using Mailchimp to provide informational emails. Specifically, if we are offering a service, making an announcement on a newsworthy event regarding our business or its members, we tend to get positive and favorable responses. Our engagement rates may vary, but the quality of emails that we send out, [allows] us to remain in contact with key stakeholders and strategic partners.
Mailchimp is well suited for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. It is great for an organization that has a tech-savvy team member, in order to optimize [its] customizing features. I also like using it for smaller projects, campaigns, and news releases, due [to] its extensive tracking features. Lastly, Mailchimp's integrations are quite robust, and as a result, allow us to collect user information from multiple sources, including our web and social media.
