Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
We use Mailchimp to help use communicate updates to different departments in the organization. When we need to update a team and see how many people opened the email, clicked on the content in it, and/or watched the videos it's been really helpful. We use Mailchimp as a purely internal communication tool. It has helped us move quickly when updating the organization while still giving us the visibility on how effective our comms are.
- Open/Click metrics
- Reporting
- List segmentation
- Design functionality
- Automation can be clunky
- We've been able to be more agile in updating large teams
- Better visibility into our communication efforts
- A/B test content with internal teams
We used to use Mailchimp for almost all of our email needs (internal & external) as our external needs grew we moved to a different software. However, we still rely heavily on Mailchimp to inform our internal teams. The ability to segment by department/division has been great for us. This has given us the ability to move quickly and tailor messages to each team.
We've cut our time to get messages out to teams. We've been able to track what teams (or audiences) are opening our emails and interacting with it. We've been able to see if we need to change certain things based on departments (Sales vs Engineering). We've also been able to see that when the sales team does interact with our content and uses it that they improve.
