Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I personally use it for brainstorming and when I have to make collaborative workshops where it's needed to have all the information on the same document. I know that others designers use it to create wireframes boards. As for the rest of the organization, I've heard that they use this tool but I don't know for what.

Pros

  • Collaboration.
  • Easy to use templates.
  • Variety of uses possible.

Cons

  • Limited features on free plan (I am not able to test the functions and see if I want to purchase a pay plan).
  • Present by small webinars video the board templates.
  • improve the time used for workshop by using predefined templates
Good templates but as said before can be improved for the comments written during the workshop. I was not able to use the wireframes function, then not satisfied with this feature.
As explaned before can be good if it can be used with a scale for fast designs. All the other functions that I use were easy to use.
It's the only tool that I've found really good for remote collaboration, principally when we work at the same time.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is better for collaborative workshops, the other tools are only used to create diagram boards as the quality of export is better.
Figma, InVision, Slack, Google Drive, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Zoom
I tried to use it for wireframes but I've found that it's hard to use because there is no scale for the design and components. Without this function, I was not able to use the wireframes to make o prototype to test. I commonly use Miro for collaboration and it matches all my needs. I mostly use a card sorting tool. The only problem is that there is no layer for the comments to make them visible/invisible in one shot. It could be good to have this function when we need to have all the comments visible.
