Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Our team utilizes Miro as a tool for Agile Scrum organization of our backlog within a sprint. It is currently being implemented as a tool in our Research and Early Development Department and addresses the problems of allowing multiple users to interact on the same board and allows updates of tasks in real-time for efficient project workflow.

Pros

  • Movement in real-time of cards.
  • Allows attachments and links for data associated to cards.
  • Multiple users can interact at the same time.

Cons

  • Comments sometimes on a cards can be overlooked.
  • Some versions of Miro do not add points of cards at the top of each column.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Improved project team goal organization.
  • Improved team communication.
Great for real-time updates on team tasks, especially in a virtual/hybrid environment.
Miro is easy to use and easy to learn, very easy to pick up as a novice user.
Our team is comprised of both 100% WFH, hybrid, and on-campus employees. Miro has allowed our team to keep each other updated on daily tasks to address daily problems. Therefore our efficiency to synthesize solutions has increased.

Well-suited for short sprint planning and backlog organization for Agile Scrum Team. Not as well suited for long-term planning.
