Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro as our board and for our stand-up meetings every day. It is how we track the jobs that we are working on and the candidates that are submitted to each job. Every one of our team members has access to the Miro board and is able to look at the Miro board to see if there are any updates throughout the day and week. We track our monthly revenue through it and when we have candidates coming off of their contracts. We are able to color code the tags to each sales representative to accurately where there needs to be more coverage on reqs.
Pros
- Has a lot of options when creating the board.
- Once you get the hang of it, it is easy to use.
- Giving people access is easy to do as well.
Cons
- I think being able to edit the board is easier and not having to switch to the cursor on the board every time you want to move across it.
- Sometimes the board randomly gets messed up, and I'm not sure why.
- Efficiency
- Visibility to the business.
- Accountability to the sales reps.
As stated before, this is a huge reason we continue to use Miro. We have multiple team members who are 100% remote and are going to stay that way. It gives them visibility to the board even if we have people working together in the office. It also allows team members to go in and see if there are any changes that have been made throughout the day or week.
We used to use an email template and just sent it to our team members. I have not used a lot of products like Miro before. I have also used a very old fashion white board. Both do the job but Miro definitely accommodates our work from home team members.

Using Miro
- Tracking our business
- Visibility for team members and organization members
- Information keeping
- It has been an easy way to keep our business up to date in real time
- Our team members can easily access it
- We have two separate branches in our office so we are able to utilize two Miro boards so that everyone can use it
- Continuing to use it for business purposes
- We are also a sales driven business and it could be a way to document our sales leads and where we can go with them
Evaluating Miro and Competitors
Yes - It was not a software product particularly, it was an email that was sent out to all of our team at the beginning of the day. I guess a product that it replaced was Teams - we would meet on teams each day and share the daily email to see where we were at as a team.
- Scalability
- Ease of Use
Our business comes with a lot of factors and moving parts - being in staffing. So we needed something that was going to allow us to showcase and keep track of all of our candidates, jobs, interviews, terms, starts etc. We also needed it to be easy to use for multiple people and allow multiple people access to it.
The evaluation and selection process was not necessarily a tough one for us. Our entire company was moving to Miro board and so we followed suit in doing so.
I would potentially explore other options and talk to the team to see what they might deem as the easiest to use and best for our team and office.

Miro Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Not sure - I believe the process that we went through when implementing Miro - was that my boss originally created the Miro board himself and then passed it on to the rest of the team
The boss who implemented it is no longer at this company so we had to learn a bit on our own on best practices.

- Confusion
- Accessibility
- Getting used to using the features
500 - Pretty much our whole company uses, has access or sees the Miro Board on a daily basis. The people that use Miro and edit it are usually in a management role.
3 - Managerial positions and team leaders.

We did not - we did not see the need for it when we initially started using it.
We also have multiple users who are familiar with Miro and have been using Miro so quite some time, so we are able to help each other within the office if there is ever an issue.

There has not been one specific time because we have not had any issues with Miro - however, I do receive emails from the Miro team almost daily which is great for any updates coming our way or information that we need to be in the know about.
Using Miro
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Like to use Technical support not required Well integrated | Difficult to use Inconsistent Slow to learn Feel nervous using Lots to learn |
- To add information or text boxes
- To Zoom in and out
- Moving around the different tags
- Accidentally clicking on a line and it moves
- Sometimes adding other formatting
Yes - I think it works well. It is easy to move around when we are having our daily stand up. Sometimes it freezes but overall, when the zoom button is working, the mobile interface works well. I do think it is because I have been using Miro for a while now, I think that if someone was new too it, it would be difficult.
