Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for project management, including tasks, overview, visualisation, for workshops and retrospectives and for notes. I also use it as a presentation tool and a collaborative tool within my team.
Miro helps me be organized and agile at the same time, it requires little to share, collaborate and make changes - and offers a wide range of templates and options for easy use.
  • Visualisation
  • Retrospectives
  • Sticky-notes for notetaking and meeting minutes
  • On line, real time collaboration
  • Pasting tables can be improved, it should be able to hold more formatting from an Excel table and requires to much formatting
  • Easier overview of shortcuts
  • Better search function when searching for appropriate templates.
  • It has improved collaboration greatly
  • It is visual, yet gives room for all expected ways of learing. Giving a tailored experience based on participants learning preference.
  • It improves overview, as all documentation can be in Miro.
We had an in person demo from Miro, they gave us an array of examples, tips and tricks, and motivated the organisation to use it.
Some troubles with the access model, and takes a little to much time to manage.
It certainly has, we are spread across locations and some of us work outside of office hours. Miro gives great information via e-mail about what has happened on a board, and we are always "live" in the same version with no need to send documents back and forth.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is a far superior tool for presentation than Microsoft Powerpoint. It offers more options, easier change and is so much more than a presentation tool. You can make changes while presenting, guide the audience, give the audience chance to vote and interact.

Miro has not got the same task functionality as Microsoft Lists, and could improve as a project management tool with expected functionalty.
Miro is incredibly well suited for workshops, retrospectives and quick notetaking. You are able to choose between an array of ready made templates, both from Miro and the Miroverse.
Miro has some more evolving to do before task management/KanBan boards have expected functionality. Also, being able to do more with your board overview in a big project, in terms of categorizing and moving boards around would be appriciated.

Evaluating Miro and Competitors

  • Cloud Solutions
  • Scalability
  • Ease of Use
Ease of use and features it provides!
I would not change anything.

Using Miro

Miro is user friendly, however it still has some work to do on shortcuts and simplifying how it is set up. Great for all experienced and tech-savy people, but a slightly more uphill struggle for people with less tech-knowledge.
