Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is use extensively by almost everyone. it is used to collaborate and to design. It is also used in workshops to navigate through content, get people to participate and vote. It is also used to develop content, maps, plans, kanban, and manage projects. It is used also as a repository for most up to date information and linked with services like Jira.
  • Designing layouts
  • collaborating
  • workshops
  • voting
  • flexibility in what you can create
  • very easy to navigate
  • integrating with other platform
  • automations
  • performance of large boards
  • saved weeks of time in plan workshops by making them virtual with waiting for the right time to meet in person
Miro has become such a indispensable part of our design process that I don't think we would be able to do what we do without it. It is so flexible, from presentations, running workshops, developing content, and mapping services; it is hard to beat. We have teams across Canada and it would be very expensive to bring them all together for a workshop or collaboration session. Other tools like, FigJam, don't compare in ease of use or flexibility they offer
Navigation in miro in 100 times better than in FigJam, however FigJam is much better and making it easy to design prototypes with flows while incorporating our design systems and color pallete.

Canva is great for making very nice content which is something miro could use more support, integrating corporate branding guidelines, and marketing templates.

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Very well suited for collaboration, workshop, designing, etc.
Not so well suited for presentations yet. It also needs more inclusion of corporate branding and template for example. I think it also has the potential of becoming the go to UX design tool if they could incorporate corporate design systems and paterns
