Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is utilized on a daily basis to organize data and ideate storytelling/ journey telling/ etc. maps to understand issues to ultimately design for a solution. Miro has been used in an AI workshop to identify uses, deterrents, pros, and cons. I have also used Miro in school to present drafts and process work so the entire class can see where classmates are at in the design process.

  • Multiple colors to differentiate ideas
  • personizable colors
  • updates to allow for quicker loading when a miro board is shared to a large group of people
  • organization of thoughts
  • ideating mapping for beginning stages
  • visualizing pain points
The collaboration used with Miro has only been in house at my organization, but it has been a great way to unite team members even when we aren't in the same room (i.e. virtual days).

Miro is well suited for essentially any workplace. Anyone can take any sort of template to organize ideas and collaboratively think in the same place.

Some scenarios where Miro might not be well suited would be discussions based around conversations or criticism. Also, projects heavily based in photos could have better platforms due to the lack of frames to input images.
