Overall Satisfaction with PandaDoc

PandaDoc is the software we use to send and execute our contracts with clients. Its by all employees levels: entry to executive. The audit feature in PandaDoc allows us to track our client's engagement with the contract and informs us on whether the customer has: opened the document, read the document, done a quick or thorough review, and more. It serves as [a] repository of executed contracts, which can be organized in folders with reporting on their status level.
  • Document Sharing: While this program will make sending effortless by allowing your entire team to create personalized templates that introduce the document, and then send directly through this software to multiple users and in a specific order if necessary, it also creates a document link that can be shared. This is particularly important because recipients might have firewalls to filter out these type of automated messages or they may end up in SPAM. By copying the link into an email directly from you, you improve the likelihood that it won't get lost in the shuffle.
  • Audit Trail: This feature shows who's done what with the document and how much time they spent doing it. This level of visibility on the client's behavior helps support follow-up sales conversations when a document is not immediately returned.
  • Templates: Allowing multiple users to independently create their own templates for future use and simultaneously giving them access to other templates means that you can have both a centralized and decentralized process for document cover pages. It saves times for everyone and allows you to support staff's preference for communicating with customers.
  • I would like to be able to be able to automate communicate flows based on actions so that I can "set it, and forget it". For example, if a document isn't read within a certain SLA, "X" communication is sent, vs. a document that is read but not executed, "Y" communication occurs and so on.
  • Manage actions across multiple documents at the same time. For example select all "Sent" documents and push a reminder across all of them at the same time. or select multiple "Completed" documents and collectively "Move" them to folder.
  • Creating the document templates is cumbersome. In particular when I require that they pull in information to populate the "Tokens" that is available in other programs, such as the CRM.
  • Close more business: Visibility into client's actions shines a light on what sections they may be struggling with. This helps with follow-up calls and therefore to close more business
  • Engagement: Allowing multiple users on a document helps with including decision influencers in the conversation to close more business.
  • Saves Times: Templates save time and help create consistency in messaging.
It's the part of PandaDoc our company struggles the most with. It seems that there isn't readily available information for self instruction on how to execute this. I would like to see more asynchronous learning modules with video that help solve FAQs your helpdesk toggles with when we (the clients) call for help.
It's very helpful to our employees at all levels to be able to access PandaDoc through mobile. When you're on the go, it's wonderful to be able to jump in and see the status of a document and easily perform next steps in a mobile environment. Mobile e-signing capabilities means we can share the document link via a text to speed up the rate of execute contracts. The quicker and easier a busy client can access the document, the faster we're able to capture a sale.
I'm very happy with the look of the documents. I think that any struggle our clients have with filling in information goes back to how well we've created the document. Since this is the area of of opportunity we've identified for this product and then our users, I would say that if this area were to improve, I would change my rating to a 10.
  • Client Services: we can use this to have multiple users collaborate on a document and "sign off" that information is accurate.
  • Collaboration: Visibility adds to the accountability of participants in a document we find this promotes collaboration and encourages employees to put their best foot forward
  • Organization: It's great to be able to virtually file documents and have multiple levels of access depending for different levels of employees
I haven't reviewed other products or have this level of interaction with other e-signing programs so it would be difficult for me to make an honest comparison of PandaDoc's functionality against other platforms. As a user, I would say that I prefer the UX/UI of the PandaDoc notifications, for example: You have a document to sign, or your document has been signed, etc, when compared to DocuSign or Adobe Sign .
It's well suited for tracking and sending documents that allow multiple employees to have individual voices. It's not an easy tool to use if you need to build a document from scratch. The mechanism to do this is not intuitive. Are there instructional videos available to show/help us learn the functionality as it currently exists?
