Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

We use it primarily for time and attendance and processing payroll.
As we are a small company with little to no turnover, we are not using many of the automated HR functions of the application.
We have some payroll taxes that are unique to our company since we do not pay into Social Security, rather we pay into the Railroad Retirement Tax system. This required prior to going live that Paycom configure the system for these taxes since I don't think that Paycom previously had a customer with these needs.
  • Its platform is fully integrated from one source and not with other external vendor sources
  • The interface and mobile app are incredibly easy to use
  • Paycom has streamlined many processes through automation
  • They have a high rate of turnover at the Team Leader position
  • Changes to Team Leaders are made with no advance communication/notification to customers
  • There has been inconsistent timely follow-up from Paycom on issues that are forwarded to them for resolution
  • The amount of time that it takes to process payroll is equivalent to that of our prior vendor, but Paycom's application is much easier to use
Paycom has greater functionality than the other companies, plus their application is owned/managed by Paycom and does not include external third-party software plug-ins, which is something that was very important to our company.

As mentioned in a prior question, the system has eliminated paperwork due to automation that has been built into it.

When new Team Leaders have been assigned to our account, there has been no transition done by their predecessor, which has required that I 'onboard' the new individual, particularly surrounding our company's unique payroll tax structure with the Railroad Retirement Board.
