Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We have two company IDs and needed one database to handle both. This is very user-friendly to toogle between the two. We started to use Paylocity for HR, payroll, and benefits. Then we were so happy with the ease of functionality we implemented the Recruiting and Learning module as well.

Pros

Cons

  • Unable to post policies on the Self-Service Portal and have access for both companies causing duplicitive work.
  • One difficult task is trying to get those who are technically challeged to use the system. But once they are giing the tools and resources, they love the information that is at their finger tips.
  • Reduces time spent on accessing information. Love Data Insights.
  • Community is a great way to acknwedge work anniversaries. Employees like to be acknowledged.
Paylocity fits users with little technology experience and the most skilled. It is very efficient and makes it easy to provide those reports the Chiefs ask for. It makes you look good when you can get that report in no time.
Impressions have been invaluable for our organization. The employee receives a notification, then it drives them to Paylocity and uses it as more than just a timekeeping platform. We have a day 2 training for our new employees where we feature Paylocity and its uses. We try to have them download the app and play with it from day one.
Hands down, Paylocity has many features and the ease of using them is better than the other platforms I have used. Also, the customer service is responsive! I like that when I have a question, I am not lost in the wind. I receive acknowledgment shortly after submission. Just Data Insights is worth using Paylocity. Implementing additional modules has been well organized and supported throughout the entire process.

I have 15 years of working with several different HR systems. Paylocity has many options that provide so much information and it is easy to navigate. We have moved to electronic employee records and placed them in Paylocity for safekeeping and 24/7 access for employees, supervisors, and HR. A life saver when licensing pops in for a surprise audit.
