Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I use Paylocity as a primary payroll processor. Centric Bank first started with them back in 2018 for 2019 implementation. I thought that the implementation could have gone soother and that we could have gotten more information on payroll processing details if the implementation coordinator with Paylocity would have shared more details. Currently, I've found that when calling for assistance you often are getting less seasoned individuals answering the phone. You hardly ever get the same person and that is what I miss the most about our other vendor.
  • Basic Payroll Processing
  • Time Cards
  • Time Off Approvals
  • Detailed knowledge for Stock Earnings
  • Prefer one point of contact - not the call center - you need to build trust
  • Time off projection that is morn easy to use
  • Easy implementation with external vendors in relation to payroll
  • Easy implementation with external vendors in relation to benefits
  • Needs improvement with customer service and would recommend a dedicated group
Payroll and time tracking form me have been good time savers for our company. I use my own reports for the vendor who helps us with Federal Reporting and Affirmative Action but they were easier to create as I became more familiar with Paylocity.
We haven't implemented the Community and Impressions. We used the Survey modules during the height of COVID and they were extremely helpful.

Do you think Paylocity delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Paylocity's feature set?

Yes

Did Paylocity live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Paylocity go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Paylocity again?

No

The entire call center environment. In my experience, if you get a new representative on the line; you often are placed on hold multiple times. Situations that are "not the norm" we had someone "sell" stock to cover the earnings from a stock grant and it took some time to get the earnings set up correctly in payroll.
