Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Pingdom
Pingdom is being used by the whole organization to monitor uptime. Before Pingdom, we had to find out when a client site was down by going to the site or if a client contacted us about it. This tool allows us to be much more proactive and react as soon as we get a notification that there is downtime.
- Lots of great functionalities that you can customize to create notifications and the reports you want
- Easy to understand reports
- Easy to work with the tool - didn't have to learn anything, it is self-explanatory
- There is nothing I don't like about Pingdom. It does exactly what I expect and need it to do but nothing more. It has a narrow purpose but it is an extremely useful tool.
- We can react quickly to downtime
- We know about the downtime before our clients and we can notify them quickly which impresses them
- It helps us figure out the root cause of the downtime issue.
I have not used other tools like Pingdom and i'm not aware of any competitors.
