Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Procore is being used across the entire organization. We are a Construction Management company in New York City and we used to have 3 main programs, one for document control, one internal excel macro for all cost tracking purposes, and another for doing punch lists in the field. We wanted to have a program that could combine the three, and combine it well, and we found that on Procore.
Pros
- Cost tracking.
- Document control.
- Field issues.
Cons
- Safety tool.
- Scheduling tool.
Bim 360 field is great for tracking field issues and equipment installation. However, Autodesk is very behind on document and cost control. They either don’t have it integrated or are just very behind. Procore has everything combined. Procore’s punch list tool is not as good as Bim360, but is good enough to be used and is worth it when you get all the other integrations from cost and document controls.
Every month we benefit from collaborations between owners, us, and contractors. Contractors do all their requisition in the commitments section. We then send them to Ownership who approves it or not. All data input and collaboration is done in Procore.
- Increased efficiency.
- Saved time on training.
- Gain visibility into projects
- Ensure information is accessible and up to date
- Document job site conditions
- Report on incidents and inspections
- Track cost impacts from the field
- Streamline financial reporting
- Improve forecast accuracy
By using the punch list tool and Procore, financials we can track all potential cost impacts and field conditions.
